What's the temperature inside your house right now?

Our heating is controlled by Hive and our thermostat is in our hall and it's showing as 16.9 degrees. The two living room radiators are 15.7 and 16.2 but bizarrely it doesn't actually feel that cold to me so the heating isn't on.

What's the temperature in your house right now and is your heating on?

20.5 but feels colder, sitting under blankets to keep warm, we don’t even have any oil to put the heating on as we can’t afford to buy any :(

5zeds · 15/09/2022 22:34

21 and no heating yet this year. It feels warm.

CryCeratops · 15/09/2022 22:35

18.4°C here.

I’m feeling a bit chilly but that’s probably because I’m getting tired now.

No heating on yet!

CaptainCorellisBagpipes · 15/09/2022 22:37

22.4 but have been baking in kitchen.

No heating on.

I'm in t-shirt and jeans.

22, no heating but thick granite walls which keep the heat in

Countingdowntodecember · 15/09/2022 22:40

According to the baby monitor it’s 22 degrees (no heating on).

It feels just right though definitely cooler than it has been for a while.

TenoringBehind · 15/09/2022 22:43

19 no heating

it will only go down now until April/May apart from select rooms with wood burners.

Arou · 15/09/2022 22:46

22.4

megletthesecond · 15/09/2022 22:46

I don't know. But it was freezing and the heating has kicked in at 20°.
It's 14 outside at the moment.

berksandbeyond · 15/09/2022 22:47

22 with no heating on

Ethelswith · 15/09/2022 22:50

Thermostat says 20. Couple of bedroom windows upstairs are open.

Heating is not on. It did feel a little chilly this morning, but milder now

edwinbear · 15/09/2022 22:51

My phone thermometer says 14 (London), doesn’t feel that cold at all, but I am nice and warm in bed. 13 yr old DS was wandering about in just a pair of shorts earlier so I’m not convinced it’s right. Definitely don’t feel we need the heating on yet.

RaininSummer · 15/09/2022 22:51

21 ish. Not planning to put heating on before the end of October unless rain forces me to for drying washing.

HumourReplacementTherapy · 15/09/2022 22:57

21.7° showing on Hive app. That's downstairs. Bedroom feels v warm though. I've still not put the quilt on,just using a quilt cover then have a blanket if it gets cool in the night.

CaptainCorellisBagpipes · 15/09/2022 23:00

Just moved the thermostat into the lounge - it says 21.deg

Outside it is 14 deg

The electric blanket has been on for a bit so the cat is happy !

I've just put a cardi on..

Dannexe · 15/09/2022 23:02

Dh has just got home and announced the house is cold. I have a blanket over the summer duvet

tillyandmilly · 15/09/2022 23:04

Boiling in my flat all windows open ! The person who has heating on - are you in the Uk? I cannot believe you have the heating on!

iamme21 · 15/09/2022 23:04

Back door wide open and 20.4 in the house!

ItisallPooh · 15/09/2022 23:06

14.5 in Aberdeenshire. Hot water bottles and extra blankets on beds. I'm refusing to put on the heating yet.
I want a hot shower and to use the tumble dryer for a loads of towels tomorrow. X

anon666 · 15/09/2022 23:10

21.7, but it feels boiling.

Always.

No heating since about March.

Moonchild18 · 15/09/2022 23:11

20.2° but it feels much colder!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 15/09/2022 23:11

It’s meant to go down to 5° Sat night in the SE 😳, seems early for such low temps

Rupertgrintismyguiltypleasure · 15/09/2022 23:12

18.5 no heating

Westfacing · 15/09/2022 23:15

22 in sitting room where Nest thermostat is but I'm in bed and have just checked on the App on my phone; outside temp 16.

Haven't had the heating on for months, thank goodness.

2-bed flat, London

Eep! That's v cold.

Mind you, I was just thinking that 20+ at night in September is unseasonably warm. 😳
