90s Body Shop products they should bring back!

I’m in a nostalgic mood.
Probably like most 90s teens I loved the Body Shop back in the day and wish they’d bring back some of my favourites which were:

Cucumber cleanser- loved the scent so much, takes me right back to summer

Passion fruit cleanser- smelt gorgeous, had a really nice texture too

Fuzzy peach & Dewberry perfume- classic first perfumes!

Also does anyone miss those fruit shaped Soaps?

What products do you wish they’d bring back?

White musk perfume. Those bath oil pearls. Dewberry shampoo.

The Japanese grain cleanser was aduki beans. If you have a halfway decent blender you could grind your own.

Roma perfume oil.
Japanese facial washing grains.
And they use to do a really nice non oily eye make up remover.

they did a vanilla bubble bath that was amazing

I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole now though, even without the MLM side of it

The refills

I don't really go there now, a I'm less sure of their ethical stance. But if you could minimise your plastic use by getting in store refills, then I might be tempted

I still like satsuma shower gel.

Loved White Musk and Dewberry when I was at school. They do bring them back occasionally

The original lip balms in the glass jars. Kiwi, Morello cherry, Strawberry, Rum Raisin.

Not Dewberry, it smelt like armpits!! I also loved the banana conditioner with bits of banana in, that was lovely

Coconut shampoo, it would remind me of life saving lessons I used to have a little bottle I took with me
Also I am sure there was a daffodil bath gel or shampoo which I really liked but it disappeared - might have been 90s or 2000s. I can't find any reference to it though!
I don't buy from them any more though.

I bought their rosemary and eucalyptus body butter recently and it's gorgeous. I better stock up before they discontinue that too

Ice blue shampoo
Peppermint foot cream
Japanese washing grains
And their sandalwood oil which you could buy 'neat' or have added to unfragranced products

Apricot lip balm

Another vote for Sage and Comfrey Blemish Gel. Was gutted when they axed it and have hardly been back since, on principle 😬

They did a massage/body lotion called Sensual (?) over 20 years ago too, had the most amazing scent, earthy with a whiff of patchouli and felt so refreshing.

Monoi (sp?) oil hair stuff. It tamed my unruly locks.

The scented foaming bath oil where you chose you own oil from the bar
Cucumber cleansing milk
Elderflower toner
Morello cherry lip balm

Lip scrub. Like a lipstick but contained abrasive particles and moisturiser. Sounds awful but was really good.

Would love these to make a return. My dd 11 would absolutely love them.

There was an ayurveda range and there was one of them that smelled incredible.

The Orange Bath Oil was divine

Pink Grapefruit face wash

I miss the fruit soaps too.

I liked the Ananya scented range... I still have some perfume oil that I use sparingly when I feel nostalgic.

They used to do a product called Hair Salad which was like a leave in spray conditioner but not too heavy. It saved my over processed hair on many holidays. And the original Elderflower eye gel that was scented, the new version isn’t the same.

Ooh, yes, the bath pearls! I used to love them too.

The Body Shop changed too much when L'Oréal took over... it lost the essence of what made it 'The Body Shop'.

Is it my imagunation or is it much more expensive now? I wanderes in to iur local admittedly v small store at Xmas lookibg for stocking bits for DD and there didnt seem to be anything in a price range for a teenage girl to buy herself like we used to?
Loved the squishy balls and of course White Musk, still love that scent

They used to have the best under eye concealer. It was in a pen like tube, with a brush on the end.
