I’m in Suffolk at the moment. It’ll be high 20s here later. 50 miles down the road in Essex it’ll be high 30s.

It's already 23 indoors too, so the windows are shut and blinds down. Will get steadily hotter now until 5pm, won't cool until about 4am.

And tomorrow will be hotter, apparently- it was accurate about yesterday.

29 at the moment, predicted 37 by 1600. I love a bit of heat but tonight doesn't look fun 27 at 0000, dropping to a low of 26 (!) at 0200 and 30 by 0800.

West of England - already 27 outside, and the same inside my home office. Entirely relishing a day shut in here on effing Teams meetings as it climbs. Can’t even have the door open as DH is doing the same on the other side of the landing. I very much know it could be worse but for me personally, with a covid cough and breathlessness, AND the constant heat of perimenopause, it’s very unpleasant just doing this. I feel hugely for people in other workplaces.
