It's raining here (Devon). And has been cloudy all morning.

Maybe it will pick up a bit later.

32 in London already - 11am.

It’s 30 where I am in South Yorkshire but it’s overcast.

31 in Essex on the coast. It was already roasting in my garden at 7am this morning. Too hot to sit outside now.

Forecast here is for 34 this afternoon. My house stays quite cool in the heat as it's completely white and I've kept the shutters and windows closed.

It’s 32 already here on the Kent coast.

29 here in Yorkshire, it feels hotter and temperature going up. It feels unpleasant already

i think i might have to shut windows as when we come home after being out it feels cool, but it is a hard habit to break

It's 30 here in the West Mids and 25 in my living room.. dreading later on. Does not help that I have a big south facing conservatory 😭The cat's going to want the door open and then the house will be an oven!

30° here already, 29° inside the house were both me and DP are wfh.

We did have the option to work in an air-conditioned office, however we wouldn't feel confortable leaving the dog at home on her own in this sweat pit, at least we can make sure she's drinking and I keep dabbing her fur with a cold wet towel to try and keep her cool.

The car also doesn't have aircon so traveling to and from work in this heat would not have been fun.

Not looking forward to trying to sleep tonight, which they are predicting to be 30° overnight, fun!

It's hot in Newcastle but not unbearable. I'm quite cool at work with the window open and a dress on.

Just checked again, now 32 and rising quickly in the middle

31 degrees here at 11am (just outside London) and I'm sweating. I'm driving to Devon immediately! Haha.

31 degrees in the Midlands. It was 27 by 9am.

It's 32 here in Herts , I have both girls off from school so we r in living room trying to keep cool, curtains closed and my girls blackout blind is on double patio doors which is helping

26 and sunny, just pleasant, North East.

Currently melting in Sheffield. 31 degrees

It's apparently 31 degrees here right now, and will rise to 37 later. They're predicting 40 tomorrow.

My house is very comfortable at the moment. Have taken sensible precautions to keep it cool and it's currently perfectly fine just sitting here without a fan etc. I'm sure we'll feel the heat more later on and tomorrow as it builds, but there is certainly nothing to get upset about right now!

37 forecast here for the school run, 40 tomorrow! That will be a pleasant 40minute walk.. it's not too bad inside my house at the moment. WFH with a big fan on my body and a little one on my face.

30 in sussex in the garden. I took the advice I saw on here and opened all the doors at 6 and closed and pulled curtains at 8.. it's currently 24 in the house.. it's a revelation !

28 at the moment in Manchester

I'm not far away from you and we have 23c. Gingers are gonna die!
