It's raining here (Devon). And has been cloudy all morning.

Maybe it will pick up a bit later.

31 in London, predicted 37 today and 40 tomorrow.

Fairly warm here in Kent but I'm not sure we're due anything over 35 degrees (famous last words!). Tomorrow is supposed to be the peak of it for us.

I've got a (very) fluffy 5 month old puppy so will be running around trying to keep him cool either way.

Leicestershire and its 29 already

N Wales. At 10.30 this am my thermometer showed 30 in the shade and 42 in the sun.

28 in South Yorkshire, forecast is for 36 this afternoon. It was 31 here yesterday.

Was 21 at 8am. Weather app says 28 now but doesn't feel that hot. Due to peak at 30 around 3pm.

Coastal NE England so we almost always have a slight breeze but not today.

I'm WFH because our v small office will be unbearable, inside is cool and it's very pleasant in the garden but then I love the heat even as a ginger

32 in South London at the moment. Predicted 36 by 3pm and 39 tomorrow.

30 here in London and really enjoying it. Might not love it overnight.

30 in warwickshire - we are curtains drawn and hiding out but v warm

Southwest here, sunny and chilly at dawn, now quite cloudy and not hot. DH says it will warm up. I knew it wouldn't be hot if I walked the dogs early. Sod's Law.

yeah DH walked woofert at 7.30 and was v pleasant

29 degrees in my bit of Hertfordshire atm, with blazing sun and cloudless blue skies.

I love the heat, personally, so I'm in my garden on a sun lounger and intend to stay here for most of the day.

I walked one dog at 5am and it was across fields and just the right side of warm. The other dog I took down by the river and it was so cold I had goose bumps and my fingers were numb.

Our house is lovely and cold as we had windows open on all four sides until 8am when everything got closed.

Just been to local town centre which was 29deg but all the shops had aircon so didn't feel warm.

Is cloudy at the moment. We had thunder last night. Hampshire.

28 in Derbyshire

We’re in Devon, no rain sadly. Not sure of the temperature outside but it’s 25 degrees in the living room. We have big south facing windows with the curtains closed and all the doors propped open we have a nice breeze coming through.

I should add the heat doesnt bother me as long as the house stays cool.

I'm also not working through it which makes a difference.

28 here, in 30 mins or so I'm off out to lay in it all day...

29 here in Wiltshire at the moment. In the garden hiding in the shade watching the various aircraft leaving from the RIAT.

25 in the shade here (Brighton) with bit of breeze, but am on a hill and our garden has trees.

27 currently in the north west. We never get proper hot weather and it won't last so I'm making the most of it while I can!

Not sure what the temp is but I'm in the South West and its definitely very hot.

It’s was never going to be that hot in the morning - the weather forecast always said top temperatures in the afternoon. It was always going to be a couple of uncomfortable hours in the afternoon, mainly between 2 and 5 but everyone has been acting like it will be a sweltering 40 degrees from dawn until dusk.
