It's raining here (Devon). And has been cloudy all morning.

Maybe it will pick up a bit later.

It's 29 in Cambridgeshire. Due to peak at 39 around 5pm. Tomorrow it says 42 😭 I'm on 10 hour shifts in a restaurant both days.

Devon too, 28 inside the house and has that poor air quality feel going on outside, despite living by the seaside. I cannot wait for a good storm!!

It's 31 here just outside Cambridge, it's predicted to go up to 37/38.

Beautiful day here near Chester. Sunny, warm breeze and 25deg. Looks like it should reach 35deg later.

29 here with not a cloud in sky (near Leeds), predicted to get to 36 by 4pm

Just checked temp. 29 now. Due to get up to 39/40 today.

East Midlands. Walked the dogs at 7.30 and it was already 22 degs. Now 29 deg and estimated high of 36 in a couple of hours. 40 deg tomorrow. I'm staying indoors with the blinds closed and fan on max. The dogs are comatose

Very warm here in Bournemouth .Taken dog out 8.30 am very warm then!

I've got the window open at the back of the house, where it's still shady. Blinds down and windows shut on the sunny side of the house. I've done the same thing all weekend and it's been nicely cool and breezy.

I am currently sweating and, if I step outside on the patio - which is shady - it's like it's mid day already.

The temperature in here at the moment - windows open - is 26 degrees.

26 here- Liverpool area. My garden has shade on the patio for a couple more hours so I can stay out here and enjoy the fresh air. Then I will retreat to my cool living room and hibernate (redhead!)

Have they reduced your menus or anything?

Around here some pubs have closed and quite a few arr doing cold food only, along with restaurants

We already have 27 in the north east but ours is 'only' predicted to go up to about 29 anyway

Sussex coast... I went to the local supermarket before 8.30am & it was pleasant, by the time I'd finished shopping 20 min later, I walked out to a wall of very humid heat, that had me feeling dizzy on the very short walk home. Not sure of the actual temperature, but it's seriously hot& muggy & I won't be braving it again before sundown. I usually love very hot weather & love Egypt fir it's intense dry heat. I can't do humidity like this though. TF we live in an old & naturally cool house, but I've got a feeling even that won't be enough by mid day 🥴

but i am ok in house, thank goodness for the greenery that i did not let DH cut down, adds a shade to the window - like window shutters

In East of England. We had about 2 min of heavy rain around midnight. Its 28° now and sunny and, and due to be around 36-37° this afternoon

26 in County Durham, forecast 31. In a class full of 14 year olds it’s much hotter.

the high tide is due at 4.00 pm so i think i might have to give the beach a miss as i wont want to be driving there then, but who knows - i could change my mind

27 here (Oxfordshire), predicted to be 38 at 5pm.

28 in Bradford. Roads quiet, woods lovely and cool

North east Aberdeenshire, currently 18 degrees due to get up to 20. Already feels warm to me! But then us Scots are used to the crappest weather.
