Here is the old thread... let's keep on top of what's going on!

Where’s your line @JaniieJones? Seriously, because at the moment I don’t think there’s anything BJ could do that you wouldn’t just brush off. It’s not just a healthy admiration you know.

I think we established on a previous thread that @JaniieJones would support BloJo as long as he didn't murder anyone for more than 10 minutes.

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 17:47

The rubbish people repeat, here is your dear leader

Boris Johnson says the global coronavirus pandemic was "the result of distant misbehaviour involving bats, or pangolins."

jgw1 · 18/07/2022 17:48

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 15:29

Thankfully though we had him for the pandemic or else the alternative would've been catastrophic. Often said, but he got the big things right and we all know it.

Often said but not often explained, so do tell us why you think this and it would be good if you can back it up with evidence, facts, stats.

Because @JaniieJones does not follow the guff spouted by the main stream media, they will not come back with half baked slurs about Jeremy Corbyn that the media whipped up before the last general election...

Boris Johnson says the global coronavirus pandemic was "the result of distant misbehaviour involving bats, or pangolins."

He even thought the no confidence vote this afternoon was Labour’s, completely forgetting it was his own. This would all be hilarious if it didn’t involve the country’s future.

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 16:40

The alternative being Jeremy Hunt?

Please list the 'big things' and how he got them right Janiie

Well for one, he was right to attend his birthday party and the other parties. It is important to keep staff morale up at such a busy and stressful time, especially after that ghastly Cummings had made such a performance.

The covid laws that Sir Keir backed so wholeheartedly really were far to draconian and really I don't know anyone who actually followed them.

'The rubbish people repeat.'

I know. Thread 11!

Poor SirBeer stumbling and stuttering like a nervous schoolboy. Public speaking isn't his thing is it. At least Ange gives it all barrels even if it is usually twaddle.

I must say @JaniieJones you are excellent at spotting twaddle.

AmaryIlis · 18/07/2022 17:54

@Clavinova and @JaniieJones, you never got around to telling us on the other thread what you thought about a PM who appoints a known sex predator to a post where he has power over MP's careers and then doesn't even want to remove the whip from him when he is seen carrying out sexual attacks on others in public?

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 17:55

' Deep state' now, interesting questions coming up for the leadership candidates

AndreaC74 · 18/07/2022 17:55

EU funded the Jenner Institute, enabling them to do research into Ebola which led to the AZ vaccine... which was rushed out and eventually withdrawn for younger people, the UK then tried to get extra Pfizer but couldn't as not part of the EU 's procurement program, our programed then slowed, EU caught up and UK stumbled along, eventually having the highest overall death toll in Europe.

200,000 deaths, compared to Germany France and Italy... all comparable countries, all significantly lower.

..and unlike Europe, CV and Brexit has left the NHS in a total mess, with people dying waiting for emergency treatment, a social care system in collapse as EU staff left, UK staff can't afford to drive to clients so have also left the sector.

Big calls? or Small balls? its just another lie, similar to "Got Brexit Done" a meaningless slogan which they hope will resonant and become the "truth"

Brexit is far from done.

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 17:38

Someone also claimed it was no party if you drink orange juice

I'm teetotal, usually drink orange juice, does that mean I've never been to a party? I'm sad now.

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 17:57

I am intrigued to know why clav and janiie have surfaced again.
We must be on to something on these threads.

AndreaC74 · 18/07/2022 17:59

Johnson has also trashed public confidence in politics (if that were possible) and has effectively turned the Conservative party, who i have voted for several times, into the UK's version of US Republican party, huge damage, that will be his legacy.

An awful man and wow! can he waffle, i d prefer Pepper Pig.

Quia · 18/07/2022 18:00

Thankfully though we had him for the pandemic or else the alternative would've been catastrophic. Often said, but he got the big things right and we all know it.

Did he? What about the dreadful lack of PPE in the early stages ? The millions wasted on useless PPE and equipment? Those totally avoidable care homes deaths? The further billions lost on furlough fraud which no-one can be bothered to pursue? The late lockdown meaning it had to be longer than would otherwise have been necessary? The fact that the fourth booster seems to have stalled despite current sky high infection figures?

We've seen what alternative regimes achieved all over the world, we know things could and should have been done better. Trying to claim all of that shitshow as a success is nothing short of gaslighting.

Its just a bit hot out I'm indoors on my tablet, thought I'd see if we've moved on from Bozo waaaaah he had a party but seemingly not.

I was worried that with Johnson gone people would quickly forget quite how awful the Tory party has become, so I would like to thank @JaniieJones and @Clavinova for reminding us, and would urge them to continue to do so.

SueSaid · 18/07/2022 18:07

'200,000 deaths, compared to Germany France and Italy... all comparable countries, all significantly lower.'

I really can't believe folk still spout this when we know we are way way down
the list of excess deaths. Just Google it. BJ didn't get a BJ off Carrie when his wife had cancer either. These threads should be called Myths and Gossip R us.

Are you including @JaniieJones the myth that a poster was going on about for a long while that it is ok to break the law if it is only for 10 minutes?

Quia · 18/07/2022 18:12

Any chance of answering @AmaryIlis" question, @JaniieJones?

DuncinToffee · 18/07/2022 18:13

Ah so it's ok to get a bj at work when your wife is healthy, I get you.

Roussette · 18/07/2022 18:17

If they annoy you so much, don't come on them, you do have choices!
(unlike us with the next PM)
Are you one of the 0.2% member of the Conservative Party and voting ? If so, who?

BTW Johnson clearly rattled in the HoC today. He castigated the Labour party for bringing a VOC, until Hoyle had to helpfully remind him that the Conservatives brought the vote Grin I know you mentioned it Blossom but worth saying again.
He looked very irritable today, especially when KS was quoting some of the resignation letters Grin

And Dorries was shrieking like a loon, with a button undone on her blouse.
The HoC has turned into a parody of itself.

The further billions lost on furlough fraud which no-one can be bothered to pursue?

Yes to this. Even Kemi Badedoche questioned Sunak on that.

balalake · 18/07/2022 18:21

Whether we are or are not way down the list of deaths from Covid, we would have been about 10% lower if Mr Johnson and his government had acted promptly in March 2020.

I know the next Conservative leader will not be as bad, but I'd at least like some competence. And Mr Johnson and others to face the criminal charges they should face.

How do you know such intimate details of BJ's sex life? He might have had many BJ's from Carrie for all I know and I've no idea when he'd have had them, could have been over several years. Are you stalking him? Have you had a secret camera installed in his office?

We know BJ and CJ were living together in 2019, we know he was still married to Marina until their divorce in 2020, we know Marina was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. If it wasn't a BJ I think we can be pretty sure he wasn't living a celibate life in 2019.

Blossomtoes · 18/07/2022 18:24

I know the next Conservative leader will not be as bad

I wouldn’t bank on it. They could be just as bad in a different way.

jgw1 · 18/07/2022 18:25

And Dorries was shrieking like a loon.

I fear your statement may be incorrect.

Surely and Dorries was a shrieking loon is more truthful?
