We’ve just started watching Fireman Sam here so this thread has been inspired by Norman Price. What a wanker.

I can’t work out if it’s more or less painful than Paw Patrol. Why does an entire town (including it’s Mayor?!?!) need to be continuously saved by a ten year old boy?

I can never get behind the Bing hate personally.

Flop from Bing winds me up. What even is he meant to be? Looks like some kind of knitted peanut and why is he so small?

I find the older baby shows worse. Paw patrol, Octonauts, so so whiny and boring. Paw Patrol has a horrible theme tune.

I saw this and immediately thought of Bing. Though my 5 year old asked me why Flop is bigger than Bing the other day ... he's seen the light.

Fucking BING! I absolutely LOATHE that programme and refuse to let my toddler see a single second of it! It teaches children DREADFUL language skills and that all stroppiness and meltdowns are a totally normal response to EVERYTHING. I did watch one episode when my daughter was a baby and thankfully too young to watch herself, and it was an episode about potty training. Fair enough, except numerous ridiculous phrases were used, like "I wetted my pants". Yes, I realise young children can use words like those until they learn the correct terms, but if they are taught the correct terms from a very young age, they won't need correcting as much.

Ditto Peppa Pig. Annoying, entitled little brat belongs in a frying pan, on a butty with brown sauce.

I've wound myself up now thinking about what a whiny little shit bing is 🤣

Oh God yes, Mr Tumble. I'm sure nobody can possibly be that happy and upbeat IRL unless they are very unwell. DD's nursery asked if she watches Mr Tumble the other day and I confess a little laugh/snort slipped out before I answered that no, she did not watch Mr Tumble.

Can I give Raa-Raa the Noisy Lion a mention too? The programme can be quite cute with semi-interesting storylines but OMG THE VOICES. So annoying!

In this house we live and breathe Hey Duggee. It's literally the only programme for pre-schoolers I've seen that we genuinely like. Some episodes are the work of geniuses - especially the Yoga Badge!

The theory in this house is that Flop is a beanbag.

Because the entire premise of Bing is ‘overcoming obstacles’ unfortunately he has to whine. And I think that’s why I forgive him.

I’ve never watched Peppa or Blippi… but there’s a reason I’ve avoided them!!

I’m taking the Mr Tumble hate hard!!! And I’m baffled anyone could be annoyed by the Octonauts. Apart from the pirate cat… he’s annoying.
