Kids TV characters you’d slap if you could?

We’ve just started watching Fireman Sam here so this thread has been inspired by Norman Price. What a wanker.

I can’t work out if it’s more or less painful than Paw Patrol. Why does an entire town (including it’s Mayor?!?!) need to be continuously saved by a ten year old boy?

I can never get behind the Bing hate personally.

So… Kids TV characters you’d slap if you could?

I hate Duggee. Why would you leave your children in the care of someone who can only say, "ahwoof"? The squirrels are all awful little bastards as well.

Peter Rabbit is terrible. Every episode is "let's go steal some radishes." Is stealing ok now?

I've never watched the Peppa Pig show because just seeing her face gives me the rage.

I have just got back from cbeebies land and hotel. I never want to see a children's TV program again. Migraine inducing.

Harsh! 🥺 Up the Duggee!

The entirety of Waffle's ineffectual, indulgent family. And the bloody dog himself.

Tim from Topsy and Tim. I will defend Peppa Pig 😁

Some of the 70s kids shows had horrible characters

E.g. Rupert Bear - Raggerty was terrifying as a dc

Hartley Hare was like Kenneth Williams somehow

Bungle and Zippy were beyond annoying but George rocked

I used to get irrationally angry when DD would watch postman pat. He's unbelievably bad at his job. Yes he saves the day but HE CAUSES THE PROBLEMS IN THE FIRST PLACE! I only noticed this as an adult though, not when I used to watch it as a kid.

Captain Caveman

He was so busy saying Captain Caveman for ages that the baddie had run off

The annoying "it's the Wolf"

Lambsey and the patronising dog character
