Yes that is the video I saw, guess the media decided not to show it.

Whataboutery from Dan Hodges

To be fair, also worth noting that Keir arriving to apathetic silence isn't exactly a vote of confidence.

Desperate times for the back boris crowd

Wow that video speaks volumes.

The comments underneath are quite amusing too!

balalake · 03/06/2022 22:10

I remember the 2012 Paralympics when George Osborne was announced as handling out medals and being shocked at booing from a large section of the crowd.

I wonder if by chance Mr Johnson is asked to present medals at the Commonwealth Games this summer what the reaction will be.

Piggywaspushed · 03/06/2022 22:16

I was there!! Twas the same night I saw Pistorius run...

The booing of Osborne was definitely booing!

DuncinToffee · 03/06/2022 22:26

97.8% say booing

Might want to share that on the thread in aibu

I imagine that booing will shred a few more nerves in CCHQ - they can't write that crowd off as a leftie mob.

I also think that it may serve to bump up Graham Brady's postbag.

Interesting that the Central Office shills have come out in force on the Booing Boris thread whereas they now keep away from all other discussions about Johnons. It's clearly got the Tories seriously worried. And rightly so.

It is quite disappointing that they have retreated from this thread, they did much to keep the story alive and in peoples minds during the quiet days of the Met's investigation.

CO really is busy, on several threads.

Just not this one

OP posts:
Notonthestairs · 04/06/2022 10:06

I assume they are recruiting because they are going to have their hands full over the next month.

DuncinToffee · 04/06/2022 10:27

They must have realised that they messed up with the interview questions, I don't think any of them were present on that thread.

Piggywaspushed · 04/06/2022 10:30

You lot are a tougher crowd for CO I think.

I think they've given up on us, there are so many inciteful people here who can articulate why they are wrong.

I think we've all popped into the other thread though and given our views.

Wow.

They've even changed the speech being said as they arrive.

Impartiality at its best 🤔

Yes. We are over there now saying the birthday gathering party was just a few minutes and was fine.

Forgetting SG report showed he was there 20 and it was proven illegal by the issuing of an FPN 🤦‍♀️

If it wasn't so scary how people think they can rewrite historical facts it would be funny.

As far as I can tell that particular poster has found a bit of legislation that no one else has read, even lawyers who have read it all through.

This from @hzeffman is quite something

Minister on how integrity has been chipped away as they grapple with conscience about whether they can vote against PM

‘I don’t know whether I can. There’s others on payroll who feel same, they are just more reconciled to lying about it’

Blossomtoes · 04/06/2022 15:32

Wow. No wonder we have no faith in politics any more. Can you imagine any 20th century Tory saying that?

More from the Times

NEW: Tory MPs claim there are 67 letters in. One number cruncher thinks they could get to 190 votes against him. Take both with a bucket of salt but the conventional wisdom now is that a vote is likely on Wednesday
