I solved Semantle #84 in 237 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 5.64. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #7. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 21.66. semantle.novalis.org/

Five adults and a selection of children all sat with 994 and 996 racking up endless guesses.

First time doing this today and I got it in 89 with a couple of hints. Quite pleased actually as I couldn’t figure it out to start with at all. Now if I can just get the hang of Redactle ….. already doing Wordle, Quordle, Octordle and Sedecordle. Loving all these games.

I got it from reading the clues on here without having any of the numbers referenced.

Like PPs I was stuck on 994 and 996 for ages, but then I came here and the hints above helped me crack it.

i play wordle still. Not heard of the otters. I tried a maths one which I just couldn’t get

There's also dordle (2 words) duotrigordle (32 words) wordhurdle (6 letter word), absurdle (where the word is chosen depending on your guesses in an attempt to prolong the game) and waffle (where you swap letters around to make several words)!

Aaaaargh. I was completely stuck even with hints then read the “shape” clue to my DP (who hates this game) and he got it straight away. Straight away!

Re other games, there's also worldle, which is shapes of different countries that you have to guess, and heardle, which gives you 6 goes to identify the first few seconds of a song intro

And Framed which gives you stills from a film and Globle, another map one which tells yiu how close to a country you are (my geography has improved immensly)
