I solved Semantle #84 in 106 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 34.61 (954/1000).My penultimate guess had a similarity of 38.96 (986/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Suddenly got it! So painfully slow today

I solved Semantle #84 in 118 guesses with one hint. My first guess had a similarity of 14.51.My penultimate guess had a similarity of 11.42.

Many greens but needed a hint to move above 996.

945 is quite a good one. Think of something doing that but maybe from
a slightly different angle/ perspective.

If you 996 or 994 something what are you trying to achieve? And depending on what that something is, how might it happen?

Weird one, I wish I'd not used the hint!

ive tried synonyms of 994/996 and keep getting lower greens

Is the thing horses eat clue useful?

If you think of how you see it in fields, I can see. I'm not horsey so don't know the terminology.

Focus on 994. And if you think of something you might do it to, what might it do afterward?

Can’t believe I had 996 and 994 on guesses 41 and 42 🤔

If I hadn’t have got 986 I would have been stuck. I had 13 greens but was thinking in the completely wrong direction.

@Rummikub I got it by misunderstanding @AliasGrape's clue about googling things to make out of something, and confusing it with the school clues! If you get my drift...

This clue got me to 994/996

and I’m now up to 254 guesses.

my only positive is that the game and clues must be good exercise for my brain.
