And so the madness continues! Here's our 9th thread to discuss, boast and rant about the game that is more pointless than Pointless, needs Masterminds to solve and will make Eggheads of us all, what with the amount of hair-pulling it induces!

Today’s took so long that I ended up involving my entire family - we sat around the table after dinner with DD inputting guesses in to my phone from DB, DSIL, nieces and my DCs. We all literally leapt from our seats and cheered when DSIL got the answer

Well done everyone- I went all around the houses, but I got there eventually!

I solved Semantle #77 in 77 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 5.58. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #38. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 63.60 (992/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

77 is still great, I start getting twitchy around 90-100 with no greens

Got it in 165! Was on two completely wrong tracks, one wrong track from my first two mid greens and another from a grouping higher up. But there were no clues cos all sensible folk are asleep!
