And so the madness continues! Here's our 9th thread to discuss, boast and rant about the game that is more pointless than Pointless, needs Masterminds to solve and will make Eggheads of us all, what with the amount of hair-pulling it induces!

I solved Semantle #73 in 34 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 16.57. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #33. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 64.10 (997/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I prefer the tricky ones that take ages, now I've got to wait til tomorrow :)

I spent ages diverted by 833 and co but got there in the end!

Annoyed with myself now because I got 460 at 18 guesses in but only thought one way from there. Think it should have been higher!

Having said that the list is a very satisfying read, would quite like it pinned up on the wall

After 5 weeks of playing I've only just realised that the numbers get redder the closer they are to the target word

Think of some things those might accompany and see if that gets you anywhere. (Personally I wouldn't have them with the target but might with some relations).
