If you're lucky enough not to know what I'm on about Semantle is a word game like Wordle. You need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics, not letters. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

@Wallawallakoala I feel you, I’m over 150 in with not a single green! I’ll go and try some of the most American words I can think of but I don’t hold out much hope!

I solved Semantle #61 in 112 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 4.62. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #111. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 86.44 (999/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

@ZiaMcnab I don't even think it's that american. I am in shock that I just got it. I did one word that was cold, then a word related that was 999!? Then got it.

That was a weird one. Was going nowhere with only 3 greens for ages then hit 949 and it came straight after.

I don't understand how my highest cold word is cold and the word I put after that was basically the target word???? Sorry I know that won't mean anything but I just don't understand the logic sometimes!!
