Seriously how much?! Window cleaner

I am in shock but I’m not sure if I have just lost touch with reality. We live in a three bed terrace which is 60s build in zone 6 London. We have three windows at the front and three windows at the back plus sliding doors (one fixed panel and one door) - max 2m wide.

The window cleaner wants to charge £22.

Is that right?

£30 for 2 windows. Zone 2.

4 bed semi. London. 3 glass doors, 12 windows and he does the front door and sills. £20. I get it done every 6 weeks.

I only pay £3.50 a fortnight for the front windows on a terraced house!

That's what I pay, he is shit though.

Mine has just put the price up to £7.50 for a 3 bed detached with conservatory. He comes once a month or once a fortnight depending on your preference and he wipes the frames down too. He also clears our guttering for an extra charge.

Wow these prices are very high. When we lived in London we paid about £15 for a 3 bed semi.

Now in the North East, 5 bed detached - £7.50! Including 2 bay windows. We must have at least 15 windows in our house.

I live in the south west and have a 5 bed newbuild, which admittedly does have a lot of glass. First company charged £25 but they either scratched the glass or weren't observant enough to point out it was already scratched. Then had two companies who quoted £40 and one (who was visiting my neighbours' building site fortnightly) wanted £80 . Needless to say we get the windows cleaned about once every 6 months!

That's exactly the going rate here.

We pay £8 for front windows only on our 3B house. For the back would be another £8. SE London, Zone 3.

I pay 16 pounds for a 4 bedroom house plus conservatory in huddersfield..it sounds about right

Well at least we’re not the only people paying £85. Inside and out, though.

£12 for three bed house. Two bays each with three tall panes + 5 tall windows + 2 small windows + 1 set French windows. City (not London)

£5 here, in the NE. They come when they feel like it but that's fine by me, the windows wouldn't get done at all otherwise.

£65 for all windows inside and out 6 bedroom home

£30 zone 2 london, 6 windows all ground floor and 1 patio door. Does insides too for extra £10. I’m going to get a Karcher!

3bed terrace £11, West Wales

4-bed detached, West Central Scotland. £10, once a month. Only does the glass, not the frames, doesn't do the veluxes.
I think here each cleaning company has its own territory so I'm glad it's cheap.

£22 is a steal where I live (overseas) it costs upwards of £130 for a bedroom house.
