Seriously how much?! Window cleaner

I am in shock but I’m not sure if I have just lost touch with reality. We live in a three bed terrace which is 60s build in zone 6 London. We have three windows at the front and three windows at the back plus sliding doors (one fixed panel and one door) - max 2m wide.

The window cleaner wants to charge £22.

Is that right?

£25 for large five bed terrace with double bays / lantern roof thingy. SW. I can’t believe how little some of you are paying.

We are in zone 4. Someone came to quite to clean our windows (5 bed but no conservatory) and said it would be £85. No thank you, I said . Still can’t get a bloody window cleaner though.

I pay £6 for my windows doing.
Semi detached with 7 windows.

I pay £10 just for the three front windows.

Its London. I pay £10 for a large house in Somerset.

I’m glad I moved to a bungalow

£20 for a four bedroom house here.

Mine has just gone up from £7 to £8 - I have 12 windows, and he does sills and doors as well.

I pay £21 for a large 4 bedroom 3 reception room house ( 16 windows, front and back door) plus a very large conservatory. Our house is L shaped so loads of windows. In a commuter town about 25 mins outside London.

12 windows plus one set of French doors, I pay £7 every 4 weeks in Yorkshire.
Prior to disability I had a long rod thing to do them myself, is this a possibility, could be a lot cheaper in the long run.

Sounds reasonable to me.

I think 22 is cheap for London. I’ve never been quoted less than £50 and that was 20 years ago. Hence We don’t get our windows cleaned. Most want to put you on a contract to do the windows monthly - but that’s only to do the front. As we are a terrace, they don’t have free access to get to the back - which is the hard bit - so you have to call them up and they charge as and when. But it’s very expensive. I’ve given up now.

£12 for a 3 bed house in NW.

£22 for a 4 bed in the East. Worth shopping around though the first guy we tried wanted £35!

We pay £14. Takes him 10 mins. I think it's a extortionate considering I pay the cleaner £15ph.

My last one didn't use ladders. He used a long pole and purified water. I'm in a bungalow now so I don't know whether my present one uses ladders or not.

Four bedroomed house in Hampshire. £10. We even offered him a rise and he refused!
