I am very proud of Virginia. Her’s has been a very long and hard-fought legal battle.
I’m so proud of her tenaciousness.
Such strength of spirit.

I do worry, though, for the many nameless and faceless victims of sex trafficking who will never see justice or relief from their bonds.

They are in my heart today, and I hope perhaps the saga of Virginia Giuffre will put the spotlight on them — which is so long overdue.

Now, the Manhattan DA and the NY State AG have caught up with him, as have the 6 January investigative committee.

I’ve read handed back, not stripped. I wonder if it’s a strategic move to reduce access to the Royal coffers. As a private citizen he’ll soon run out of money on legal fees, security etc and may even be bankrupt by the time a settlement is requested.

Not just Trump either . Pictures of Bill Clinton beaming away on a private plane with Epstein and we all know he wasn’t averse to taking advantage of young women in vulnerable positions. Andrew is undoubtedly a vile individual and I have no sympathy for him whatsoever but I do suspect there is an attempt to throw people under the bus to protect people in power in the US

Perhaps it didn't cross his mind that she was under the legal age of consent in Florida, and maybe she did paint a smile on and make the best of a bad situation (in the way that women coerced into sex working sometimes do), but that doesn't make him any less of a sleazeball. I believe that Virginia is telling the truth, but I think it will be nigh on impossible for her to prove it.

Whatever the outcome of this case, it is proven that PA happily kept company with a convicted rapist whose victims were 14 year old girls - in this case I think it is possible to judge a man by the company he keeps. For that alone, he has no place being in the public eye and it is absolutely right that he has been stripped of his titles - he is not worthy to hold any such revered positions. I feel sorry for the Queen, she must be so angry and disappointed in him, but she has done the right thing.
