Hello Ladies - hopefully a new thread for you... @Carosel2 @Whitestar55 @Chrissols @danblack87 @flutterby18 @wfh21 @workingfromhomenow @cherryblossom114 @Lovemydaxie @homeworkmum and anyone else I have forgotten.

Very disappointed that BACS was not included in this upgrade. When is this company going to drag itself out of the Dark Ages ??

I'm a newbie here - just done my first half dozen or so letters, what does RTX mean please?

So far has been OK - couple of formatting feedback things only. (For instance I'd put DOB in letter and not in box at the side, they corrected spelling of a name but I had put an N note in the box so not sure why they had to tell me that? So if name was eg Thompson if typed that and it had the number next to it and in the note box 1. Check thompson/Thomson spelling)

I don't like the passive aggressive tone of their cut and paste response about "relying on a professional service" or whatever it said!

@homemum: RTX is 'the hospital' identifier so we don't type 'Hospital Number:XXXXXX' as per template - it is just 'RTX: XXXXXX'. 'BMI' is another.

@Housemum, after x amount feedback over the years that ending still gets my back up !!! it's demeaning. As for the spelling of the patient's name - unless the proofreader phoned the secretary up not sure how they would know either ? I have spoken to the staff at DICT8 over the years and been told it is not our job to google names/addresses. Don't let that put you off if this is something you are doing that fits with your life at this point in time, DICT8 like to lord it over us with their old fashioned ways 😄

@wfh21: I am quite happy with the progress made re. invoicing ... I no longer have to buy stamps, envelopes, plain paper for printer OR, indeed, printer ink. I have one less trip to the post office, So I am pretty happy all round. I am still stuck in the dark ages ... this to me is a bonus!!! Printer has now busted in any event ... I was worrying about having to replace it but now I don't have to. Anyway, now my laptop is playing up so that makes way for me to buy a new one .

The person who had the job of scanning them on the accounts is probably now promoted to proofreader..£26,000....😠

@danblack87 - I prefer work done upfront paid asap in my account not theirs !!!!

Well all I can say today so far is, I wish they would clean the dust off their dictaphones, my ears don't take kindly to static crackling sounds.

@whitestar55: same here and diabolical dictation any event ... riduculous.

Yawn-fest for me today.

Has anyone received their cheques earlier than usual or are we looking at the same window ?

@wfh21: I usually post my invoice on the 1st and receive the cheque 4 days later (unless a weekend in between). I deposit my cheque on the 5th day and money is usually in the bank and cleared 5 days later. My cheque has just arrived (day 2) deposit later funds should be available for me my Tuesday ,,,, So, yes a lot quicker receipt for me.

The cheques are arriving much quicker. Received today, scanned into bank via mobile app and funds available tomorrow. Much better

Well it was like the old days yesterday - plenty of work and excellent, clear as a bell dictating !! managed to hit my target for the day !! long may it last 😁

@Meha5a - the last two weeks have been dreadful, lucky to make £5 a day. Thankfully have Tpro. This morning we have the whisperers.

@Gally123 I had a lot of days like that over the last few months but for some strange reason the stars aligned and got March off to a good start !!!! probably won't last 🤣

FFS today the dictation is awful. Time to look on Indeed, I've had enough!

@whitestar55: The dictation is diabolically shocking today. I been attempting to work for 2 hours and not achieved a penny yet

@Whitestar55 - Thankfully, like @Gally123 I have T-pro. I am getting scrutinised on every bit of work I submit and I am convinced they are making things up, I check my work extremely thoroughly and have to say when I go over a second time there are extra words appearing, which I swear were not there when I first typed the task, so when I submit and they are saying flag up names or type phonetically (which I do) and then tell me I have missed out two or three words before a sentence is utter b.....cks! Their system is either that out of date that it isn't dragging through the correct dictation or they are lying and adding feedback deliberately to prove their worth. I have had a couple of excellent tasks, not done many, but I even knew this time which letter they were addressing and there is no way I missed out what they had said, as it would not have made sense, and after twice going over with a fine tooth comb for them to say that, well to me there is something adrift, and giving them the benefit of the doubt my bet now is that their OLD decrepit system is malfunctioning

I really have to restrain myself from putting what I really think in the notes box sometimes.

@carosel2 Sorry you are getting so much abusive feedback, it's really disheartening. @danblack87 2 hours! @Meha5a Fingers crossed it lasts.
