I too no longer have the mental capacity for any more RTX and these proofreaders 'you typed....' until they start offering bonus incentives 😠

@carosel2, I feel for you, the feedback I got made me angry that's why I made the decision not to type RTX work. I was getting dictation that had no and, if, the etc, starting mid-sentence, not finishing sentences, poor pronunciation of medical terminology and drug names, unclear pt details the list is endless. Most of the letter went in the (unpaid) note box, and then getting condescending feedback regarding DICT8's high standards 🤣 (for my unpaid note box work) I just thought up yours

I've had a new keyboard for a week and already the N and the E are wearing off. As for the dictation, there's lots on, but as usual the same five awful tasks are hogging the list. It's gonna be another ALT N day!

wfh21 - I have had a good day today. I haven't done any work for them today as my stress levels had gone through the roof but concentrated on the lovely Irish doctors at T-pro

So, I went for it and joined T-pro last month :-) I have to say, I haven't even looked at Dict8 since joining. Everyone was very helpful and positive in getting me started and the dictations are (99% of the time) way better. It's hard to tell at the minute which is more worth while money wise (I'm only part-time, so will never reach the bonus) but I think it was definitely a good move for me. I'm going to keep Dict8 on.....probably only as a backup though. Reading through some of these comments I'm glad I haven't been near it!

I really didn't think DICT8 could get any worse, but it truly has today. I have one dictating a diagnosis which honestly sounds like 'query black sport and knickers' and that's all I can hear now. Should I put it in the notes box? It's effing diabolical. Tpro here I come (hopefully) if you'll have me.

Oh boy, that's bad lol. I only have one speciality (they wouldn't give me any more despite asking on a few occasions), so quite regular I would find myself in front of the computer for a few hours but having only typed a few measly letters - some days were a complete waste of time and all I got out of it was frustration :-( In saying that, it is good to have as a back-up, should I ever need it.

No doubt T-pro will have you, good luck :-)

@Trace000 Thanks and yes frustration is a good way to describe this job. I'm glad to hear you're finding Tpro is an improvement.

I have never heard such abysmal dictating in all my life as I have on my task list today. Hundreds to type and can't get past the first five RTX s*e. Give me strength . Please tell me it's not just me struggling to understand the dictations.

@xflutterbyx Hi, no it's not just you struggling. About 95% of the dictation is extremely challenging lately, to put it politely.

@xflutterbyx, same here, I had five on my list most of the day - the number of tasks were moving up and down but my five stayed static ? As before, I am not typing RTX numbers any more as I feel the feedback regarding this awful crap was unjustified and rude, and I have standards !!! and this crap crossed the line for me.

@danblack87 - good. Not done mine yet. I did watch the video - when she said to check your name and address "is correct" shouldn't that be "are correct"?

@Gally123: then again your name AND address could be 'are correct'. SO long as I get paid that's fine. Don't have to produce an invoice, supply an envelope and stamp and post SOOoo I am v. happy with that. I am glad it was easy to do being a technophobe!!!!!

Didn't see any RTX today, then again at one stage it went from 90+ tasks to 40+ tasks within 5 minutes ... does that mean RTX is being outsourced to Indeed, as mention by someone on here. I can honestly say I have not miss RTX one bit

Have you had an email about invoicing today? I had one last week but nothing today.

The electronic invoices will save you £10.20 if you normally send 12 invoices first class per year. I bet that's the only pay rise we'll get, 85 pence a month

I always sent mine first class on the last day, so I suppose it isnt going to speed up when we get our money as even if they received it the day after, I still had to wait a week for my cheque as no doubt they will be posting out second class. I was informed they do the invoice run on a Thursday so that will be this Thursday, cheque sent 2nd class if we are lucky will get Saturday, wont clear in bank if it is scanned in phone until next Tuesday, so nothing has changed for me other than saving a first class stamp like for 12 months and having the faff of going to post the invoice of course, which is a bonus. Lets hope BACS will be their next move!
