How long have you been on MN?

And what brought you here? My youngest has just turned 10 which reminded me I found MN when heavily pregnant as suffering agonising SPD with him. I was directed to the Bounty forums by my midwife, then NM was mentioned on there and MN on there. So it was a chain reaction that led me here!
I’m glad it did, I’ve found it a useful hive of information but I can’t believe i’m still here 10 years later

About 10 years I think - googled reviews for a hoover I think and one of them was MN. I have no DC, really glad I found it. Quite a few name changes.

A year when we started TTC. I've met some truly lovely people on here and one who I meet with regularly for lunches etc.

About 15 years on and off

Since 2016 when I googled Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in cats which my darling boy Troy had and I came across The Litter Tray. Sadly he died not long after but the sympathy and support I received was lovely.

14 years . Stuck around here unlike nethuns.

16 years, and I still have the same name I registered with (though it didn't have capital letters then)
I have changed name briefly many times for various reasons - jokes, thread themes, competitions, anonymity etc but I've always come back to RustyBear.
I found Mumsnet because I was working as admin support in a school & the head asked me to research what other schools did about car parking problems. I found this thread and was hooked

2009 I think. There was an article in the Telegraph so I had a look and got sucked in.

Took me months to pluck up courage to post but then used to join in lots of the jolly threads when things were fun.

Many name changes and new log ins since then.

Far too long (and it has to be at least 17 years or so) Have name changed a few times, and had a couple of long breaks. Still love a good parking thread though

Since 2001/2, I think. Have made some excellent real life friends here.

@TheChosenTwo I wasn't pregnant in the end but I spent a stupid amount of money on frer tests all with lines, people were congratulating me on the threads as they were quite obvious lines! It wouldn't have been the end of the world if I had been pregnant but not at all in our plans!
Addicted to mumsnet ever since, some really supportive and lovely people on here

I've been here 15 years. Mumsnet has seen me through so much, I'm thankful for it.

I remember things like xenia and her island, iCod and her random spellings. Sharon, the tRexing DH and the dead wasp. The great sahm vs wohm debate. She who must not be named and her dubious sleep training.
