How long have you been on MN?

And what brought you here? My youngest has just turned 10 which reminded me I found MN when heavily pregnant as suffering agonising SPD with him. I was directed to the Bounty forums by my midwife, then NM was mentioned on there and MN on there. So it was a chain reaction that led me here!
I’m glad it did, I’ve found it a useful hive of information but I can’t believe i’m still here 10 years later Grin

At least 16 years probably a little longer, many name changes and I was one of the posters who was hacked in that infamous incident that’s years ago now. I left for a few months after that.

About 10 years. Found it when googling upon discovering I was pregnant.. in those 10 years it has supported me through numerous miscarriages/infertility and 10 years later I'm childless but still here! Mainly for AIBU, Doghouse and Property threads Grin I change my name every few months.

Probably 10 years or so. It’s changed as it’s grown, not for the better, but I can’t seem to stay away. People seem to post for a reaction more.

Since I got pregnant in 2013. DSIS mentioned it.

I mainly used it to stay awake whilst breastfeeding initially.

@Yuledo I have noticed that more over the years I’ve been here, a lot more posting for reactions. It’s tedious isn’t it? People get so drawn in and invested.

Oh yes. Gina ford Someone made a joke about strapping babies to rockets and she went bonkers. It was hilarious. Well, not for Justine obviously as she had to deal with the legal side of it. I would have loved to see it go before a judge though. Your honour, an anonymous person on a website said that I strap babies to rockets and send them off. I assure you I do not and I can prove it. My reputation has been damaged and I do not want people to think I launch infants into space because they might stop buying my books.

more years than I can remember. if I remember right there was a snippet about a thread in an email so clicked on it found it hilarious and joined the site. no one ever seems to want to add to my threads and no one ever talks to me but I do enjoy some threads

2004 ish looking for advice on an early school start for DD who was very ready to go at 3 1/2 & all her nursery friends were the older DCs who were leaving for school & she was fuming & refusing nursery as she wanted to start school. Didn't get the early school start which I'm glad of with hindsight, but we did have to pretend that the nursery were short staffed & needed her help with the younger DCs at nursery for a year & they treat her as if going to her job. It was the only way to get her there 😂

Joined in 2011 while on maternity leave with DC2. I read an article in the Guardian about Riven and her lovely daughter and it brought me here.
