I really miss the Phileas Fogg snacks from around the 90s, particularly Punjab Puri and Mignon Morceaux… god they were good. Also Frisps if anyone remembers them. And NikNaks before they went dry and biscuity. Anyone else?

Krunchie puff salt and vinegar snacks sold for 5p at the school tuck shop. These are the cheese ones I think but the salt and vinegar were best.

Waitrose almond thins (biscuits), if I could bring back anything it would be them.
Mushrooms that taste of proper mushrooms, modern ones are definitely not as full of flavour.

@RAFHercules M&S do something similar almond biscuits wise.

@Laska2Meryls

Deltas ( I think they were M&S , triangle shape biscuity snacks so much tastier than Sainsbury's version) .. Cheese Buttons ( same sort of thing) M&S salmon and cucumber cottage cheese.. I used to have it several days a week for lunch at work in the 80s Realeat burger mix
I'm here to mention m&s Deltas too! They were absolutely delicious. I still miss them. 😔
Crunchymum · 07/11/2021 09:15

M&S used to do an amazing chicken escalope. They were just divine. It's been a decade and I've still not managed to find a decent alternative.

shallIswim · 07/11/2021 09:27

In the seventies mum would buy frozen mousses which were edible when defrosted. No microwave so we had to be patient. Full of E numbers but delicious. Mum was generally a knit-your-own-yoghurt type so it was a miracle that we got these!

lollipoprainbow · 07/11/2021 09:32

Sainsbury's used to do a pack of round individual toffees with a Brazil nut on the top, nonsuch toffee it was called, they were delicious. Aldi did a pack of garlic toasts the other month they were delicious and reminded me if the Phileas fogg ones !

lollipoprainbow · 07/11/2021 09:34

Juice bars, really solid ice lollies that came in pineapple, grapefruit, orange flavour.

lollipoprainbow · 07/11/2021 09:36

Butter thins, really thin delicious butter biscuits

BeyondMyWits · 07/11/2021 09:36

Sainsbury used to do a tub of frozen orange juice concentrate. You'd put it in a jug and top up with water. Really nice and refreshing.

lollipoprainbow · 07/11/2021 09:37

Cheese buttons and potato triangles from Sainsbury's !

DukkaDukka · 07/11/2021 09:40

@Andoffwego I remember those burger kits ! Tesco used to do them. I didn't realise they had been discontinued.

DoctorSnortles · 07/11/2021 09:46

HazelandChacha · 07/11/2021 09:48

Puff mint candy (or mint puff candy) that’s what I’ve been trying to remember!
Google doesn’t seem to remember it though although others have obviously searched for it.

Ready salted Chipsticks. You can get salt and vinegar in every supermarket but no plain ones.Surely it doesn't cost more to make its just salt.So frustrating!
