Most people in prison are not police officers.

@GrolliffetheDragon I think people are imagining what Sarah Everard went through and what her family are going through for the rest of their lives and just want to be able to let that out a bit. I have been raped but tbh much as I think he was a piece of shit I actually feel much more raw hatred for Couzens.

I do however hope he lives with shame and guilt over what he did. I very much doubt that a man who planned such an awful crime and carried it out is capable of feeling shame or guilt.

Probably only shame that his family and everyone else knows what he did. Obviously he doesn’t feel remorse over what he did—people like this never do

Well one things for sure he is incredibly thick! He knows what happens to nonces in prison and surely must have been aware there were CCTV cameras everywhere.

I don't think he was thick, rather so arrogant having got away with his 'lower' level crimes and behaviour, he thought he'd either not get caught or would continue to be protected.

He did something that is largely unacceptable and horrifies people, people are reacting to that.
He killed Sarah because he could, because he wanted to. Sarah did nothing, except be there and be a woman to attract that.
People are wishing ill on him because of his actions, not just because he's there.

If you can't understand that then there's something really wrong.

I’m not a prison guard I have however worked in secure forensic setting and you maintain professional demeanour & composure because that’s what I’m trained in. I treat in a humane manner because that’s the right thing to

No, they are not lowering themselves to his level. Yes it is distasteful but people are angry, very angry and disturbed by what he did.

He will spend the first few days / weeks on the healthcare wing ( basically a mini hosp ) where he will go on suicide watch as a precaution ( think of that as you will )
He will then go to the VP ( vulnerable prisoners wing ) which houses paedophiles , rapists and those seemed too vulnerable to go on a normal wing.
By vulnerable that could mean people who have learning difficulties , prisoners who are likely to be harmed by other prisoners in standard wings such as those who owe money due to unpaid drugs playback , conflicting gangs, or persons of interest , police , celebrities and such like.

You come across all types of crime committed by all types of people including serial killers , mass rapists etc .
In the job you know who you are dealing with , whereas if for example you worked in a shop , or a Dr surgery , you do not know what terrible crime Mr Happy & Pleasant in front of you has done.

I really don't want to hear any more about him and quite frankly if he does suffer in prison, it will be mild compared to what he put Sarah through. Lets keep Sarah's memory alive and forget him. He is not important.

This excuse of a human being does not deserve our thoughts, good or bad. It broke my heart reading the victim statement written by Sarah's mum 😥
