Is anyone else following this news story?

Fucking hell I hope she is found. So many things about the timeline don't add up.

@Piccalino3

This is a sad update. Sad there was no justice for Gabby and her parents and sad for his parents too. They have to deal with what their son did and now the fact he's gone. Two wasted young lives.
Just terrible😥

I honestly expected them to say the remains were not his. Based on his, and his family’s, behaviour to this point I wouldn’t have ruled out his trying to fake his death.

I still think it’s very odd that on the one day his parents consent to help the search it is his dad who finds the belongings, with the remains nearby.

Anyway, my sympathies remain with Gabby’s family who will now not see justice for their daughter. I have limited sympathy for his parents, yes they have lost a child and that is tragic, but they have behaved appallingly in refusing to aid the investigation until now.

@Windows01

Do you think there will be a confession in the journal that was found?

What does it mean by human remains? Seems different to just a body being found.

Anyway screams of guilt clearly. Shame justice was not served in the proper way.

I was told that you have to look at the wording used by police in these cases. Generally speaking “human remains” means they have found body parts, not an intact body.
neveradullmoment99 · 22/10/2021 10:33

On an news report they said the remains were a skull and bones.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/10/2021 10:34

Its possible that the parents knew where he was but hadn't heard from him for a week or so. Then they raised the alarm?
Its all very tragic.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/10/2021 10:36

We may actually never know.

IndecentCakes · 22/10/2021 15:42

There are many crocodiles in the area, so I'd guess that's why the body is not intact.

It's all very tragic.

Just seen an article where an apparent suicide note from him admits her murder/killing .
Will see if I can link it .
