Has anyone ever went to school/worked with or just knew before they became famous? Just wondering as I don't know anybody who is famous 😀 and what were they like ?

Yep I know a few and two family members work very closely with properly famous people. By all account some are nice and some are absolute dicks, like anyone not famous.

I went to the same school as Ricky Whittle and once gave him a lift as he played football with my DP. He was in Hollyoaks and American gods. I believe he also appeared in Strictly Dancing. Just a little school boy then, but look at him now!

I have been friends since I was a teen with someone who is now an actor.
They are very famous and very wealthy but we are still very close and they visit my humble abode every year and we just do normal stuff

Nothing at all A list, but I grew up in the same estate but two roads over as a pop singer (he was a couple of years older so I didn't really hang around with him). Don't want to say who or out my location. My older step brother went to school with him and said he was a twat.

I was at school with some of Kajagoogoo - but they were in their last year of sixth form when I joined. They were talented and friendly to the year 7's.
Weirdly I used to live a few doors up from one of the mothers of someone in kajagoogoo!

My cousin went to school with the bad head off celebrity big brother, that nearly ruined that poor guys life. Thankfully the public aren’t stupid and could through it. Not saying the name.

Cousin said she was a pain in the arse at school as well and rubbed people up the wrong way all the time!

A dear friend was closely related to Jason Priestley (Bev Hills 90210). I didn't follow the show but did see the episodes with my friend in them. JP was very sweet and down to earth.

I chatted with Johnny Depp one night in the early days of his career. I didn't know who he was at the time.

The actress I went to school with has, to the best of my knowledge, left the industry and is no longer in the public eye, so it doesn’t seem fair to name her.

I went to school with a comedian who was very quiet and unassuming. I was amazed when I found out what he did. He's been on several tv shows. @NiceGerbil I'm wondering if we could possibly be talking about the same person!

Yes I know someone famous with nearly £10m Instagram followers. It's not nice sometimes as public opinion about them is hurtful to read.
I know someone too, Who seems to get a lot of hate online, In reality he's very nice, Hurts to read what people think of him sometimes.

*I went to school with a girl who became a very famous actress who appeared in Coronation Street for several years in the 90s. She was a couple of years younger than me, so I didn’t really know her, but everyone was aware of her because she took the lead role in all the school’s dance & drama productions.

She was very pretty, so she became a fixture in the tabloids & ‘lads mags’ until she had some highly publicised personal problems. I believe she then left the entertainment industry to get married & have a family*

I had a fling with a very well known actor. He only hit huge international fame quite recently but he was still an actor when I had the fling with him but just not a household name. You'd all know him but I am not naming names.
