Yes, didn’t like it at all. Dirty, expensive, everyone out to rip you off, we were robbed twice. Husband had his wallet taken from the inside breast pocket of his jacket and some devious f*er had my watch off of my wrist on the train in from the airport to meet him (admittedly, grudging respect, that’s quite a skill).

Paris, on the other hand, has sparkled at every visit over many years. Adult kids love it too, now.

Game of Thrones or John Constantine?

Yes it is dirty. Can't believe the bin system in the streets! Massive communal overflowing bins. Makes the streets smell terrible.
Also the best restaurants we found were up in the side streets, hid away. Loads better than the main ones.
