So the previous thread is nearly full up.

Wanna start this new one?

OP posts:
LittleGh0st · 16/09/2021 17:17

I try to but it can be hit and miss. Recently I've been pretty good - yoga, spin class, body pump and swimming at least once a week each plus lots of walking and the off bike ride.

Favourite quick, midweek dinner?

LittleGh0st · 16/09/2021 17:18

Odd bike ride

MakeMineAdoubleChocolate · 16/09/2021 18:06

Chicken chargrills, salad, coleslaw, and spicy wedges

You have 6 hours to yourself and £300, what do you do?

sylbunny · 16/09/2021 18:23

A very expensive spa plus treatments & champagne accompanied by a tiny lady walking up and down my back.

What is your favourite house plant and why?

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 18:46

No houseplants as I tend to kill them all within 3 months.

What was the last book you read?

prettyteapotsplease · 16/09/2021 19:30

Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell about his experiences during the Spanish civil war.

How would you describe your accent?

everywhichway · 16/09/2021 19:49

A lot less posh than other people tell ne.

The biggest lie you've ever got away with?

OP posts:
everywhichway · 16/09/2021 19:49

me, not ne

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 20:53

Muddled.

Did you embrace a particular fashion style as a teenager?

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 20:54

x post again...lol!

PopsicleHustler · 17/09/2021 02:36

Yes, I loved platform boots, bubble backpacks, neon bracelets. I was a teenager in the late 90s early 00s.

What is your best and worst holiday/being abroad experience?

kissmelittleass · 17/09/2021 02:45

Best holiday Las Vegas , can't say I've had a bad holiday though

Have you got any health conditions?

PalacesOfMontezuma · 17/09/2021 08:48

Nothing physical and nothing diagnosed but definitely high functioning anxiety and very likely ADHD.

What are your weekend plans?

everywhichway · 17/09/2021 09:16

Birthday party (not mine), lots of gardening, a few walks and the usual domestic chores.

Biggest lie you've ever got away with?

MrsSkylerWhite · 17/09/2021 10:25

That I thought my boss was a nice person.

Do you like rain?

PopsicleHustler · 17/09/2021 10:31

Not to walk-in, but to look at from the window. I really hate doing the school run in the rain. I also wear glasses so it's irritating when the rain smudges up your glasses

What is your dream weekend?

PopsicleHustler · 17/09/2021 10:35

My dream weekend is that I find good childcare for my youngest three and take my eldest two children on a day trip to london. I used to live in london but decided after we had our first born to move back to south England. Not too far though from London Waterloo. I would take them to the natural history museum, m&m world, hamleys and lunch at nando's followed by a shopping trip in Stratford Westfield and then go home.
Then the Sunday, take all the kids and husband for lunch at a Chinese buffet restaurant, and to the outdoor olde world museum in Hampshire.

MakeMineAdoubleChocolate · 17/09/2021 11:01

My dream weekend would be to hire a skip and have a mega declutter of my home and finally get rid of the old corner sofa and bed frame that is taking up the second bedroom and I hate looking at it everyday. Spend the Saturday decluttreing and having a good clean of the house, literally going for it, like one of those Ocd programmes.
Then spend the Sunday, walking as slow as possible around the large garden centre near me, holding hands with my husband and then home for the biggest sex session. The children would be at grandads, so I can get a break. I haven't had time to myself or a babysitter in a good few years....

Favourite museum or theme park?

PalacesOfMontezuma · 17/09/2021 11:58

My favourite theme park is Efteling in The Netherlands. Absolutely magical and not loud, brash and overpriced like the UK ones.

Best song to listen to when you're angry?

prettyteapotsplease · 17/09/2021 12:19

Albatross by Fleetwood Mac which I've not heard for a while - if that doesn't calm you down nothing will.

Best duet?

Mariell · 17/09/2021 12:52

Best duet is Dolly and Kenny but a more recent one would be Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow.

Favourite school hymn?

FramboiseRoyale · 17/09/2021 13:15

I'm American so no school hymns in state schools (separation of church and state). My favorite hymn is When I Survey the Wondrous Cross because it was my grandmother's favorite and it reminds me of her.

High heels, yes or no, and if yes, how high?

PalacesOfMontezuma · 17/09/2021 13:24

Pre Covid, I did 2 days in the office and would wear heels of about 2 inches. For nights out, weddings etc I'd go a bit higher. Since Covid I've been WFH and haven't got out much so I'm out of the habit. I wore 3" heels for a recent event and felt so wobbly! I love how towering heels look on other people but they're not for me sadly.

Having just fallen flat on my face in a shop and wished the ground would swallow me up, tell me about a time you fell over in public.

PalacesOfMontezuma · 17/09/2021 14:54

Or any other embarrassing moment?

MydogWillow · 17/09/2021 18:26

Had a couple of allowed Christmas tipples at (retail) work during the day. Served a customer who was wearing a hat. Pre-tipple it would have been a completely ordinary hat. This time it was the most hilarious hat I'd ever seen. Snot laughing at this poor, bewildered woman. Tears streaming!

A bit later, on my break it was lashing outside so had my umbrella up walking down the High Street. Walked through the indoor market with my umbrella still up not at all aware of how stupid I looked.

Reckon someone had added something stronger to the works drinks.....

What's for tea tonight?
