So the previous thread is nearly full up.

Wanna start this new one?

Oops answered wrong question. A pizza place in Belgium that gave me horrible food poisoning for days.

OooohAhhhh · 21/09/2021 18:40

Every night because I don't put on weight.
Does your living room have a real log fire?

MrsSkylerWhite · 21/09/2021 20:48

No, ephanol.

What recipe have you never attempted to cook because it scares you?

Mariell · 21/09/2021 20:52

No recipe scares me as such but I’ve never used a blow torch in the kitchen! I would be concerned I would cause a fire!

Have you cooked/baked something and it was absolutely disgusting because afterwards you realised you left out a vital ingredient or got the measurements wrong and added far too much or less of something?

ooft · 21/09/2021 21:34

No but DH frequently makes things and if he doesn't have an ingredient he just misses it out. It does my head in.

What would you do if you loved your job in theory but couldn't abide the person you were working with? You have the option to leave but that would affect long term career prospects

kissmelittleass · 21/09/2021 23:34

If I wasn't happy then that would be my decision made

How do you feel about how you're ageing? Are you happy?

Zeal · 22/09/2021 08:47

I’m OK with it neither happy or unhappy

Joining a camel train across the Sahara for 3 months or Everest base camp for the same?

Mariell · 22/09/2021 08:57

Camel train.

You have to have an exotic pet. What do you choose?

PopsicleHustler · 22/09/2021 13:28

A giraffe family and a very large area to keep them happy in with room to explore and so on.

What would you choose? You have the ability to speak 5 languages fluently. Or have 5 things you really want right now/would love to buy at the click of a button

PopsicleHustler · 22/09/2021 13:29

I'd really love to speak Arabic, Spanish, French, Nigerian tribal language Yoruba and Italian right now if I could. Ooh or maybe Russian. Swap the Italian for Russian.

Chocolatier9 · 22/09/2021 16:43

@PopsicleHustler Why Yoruba?

I’d choose five languages above five things too: Urdu, Russian, Mandarin, Burmese, Japanese.

You can choose one of these for a holiday: camping and trekking in the Costa Rican jungle or ice skating across Norwegian fjords. Which is it to be?

prettyteapotsplease · 22/09/2021 17:11

I suppose I'd better camp and trek in Costa Rica as I can't ice skate for toffee. I hope Ray Mears is allowed to accompany me.

Do you like Brussels sprouts?

everywhichway · 22/09/2021 18:59

In moderation, but I generally only have them with Christmas Dinner - done with pancetta and chestnuts.

If someone you liked a lot really wanted to spoil you, what would you like them to do?

OP posts:
HandScreen · 22/09/2021 19:05

Plan something for me from start to finish.

What's your favourite time of the day?

kissmelittleass · 22/09/2021 19:22

Probably the late evening when I get to sit down and watch tv

Do you wear glasses for reading?

ditalini · 22/09/2021 19:29

I should do but I'm weirdly in denial so read on my Kindle instead and make the font bigger.

One day my arms'll stop being long enough to allow me to squint at packets and I'll just have to grow up.

(I do have some quite nice £5 Tesco reading glasses but I never know where they are).

ditalini · 22/09/2021 19:30

Who was your first sleb crush?

PopsicleHustler · 22/09/2021 19:37

@Chocolatier9

It's a great and interesting language. My husband is from legos. he speaks yoruba

PalacesOfMontezuma · 22/09/2021 19:58

Jason Donovan. When Scott and Charlene were in Neighbours. I was so jealous that she married him.

Who's your most unusual/surprising celeb crush now?

kissmelittleass · 22/09/2021 22:34

How much do you spend on food shopping a week?

MakeMineAdoubleChocolate · 23/09/2021 08:14

Between 100 to 150. I have a large family and so a lot goes on baby wipes and nappies too....

What's the best thing you have bought this month or this year?

Hen2018 · 23/09/2021 08:50

I haven’t bought anything nice for years as I’m trying to pay off my mortgage.

When did you last go to the cinema?

Mariell · 23/09/2021 09:29
  1. A planet of the apes film which was crap. Loved the original films though.

Do you buy any novelty Christmas clothing or costume jewellery such as candy cane earrings etc to wear over the Christmas period?

kissmelittleass · 23/09/2021 09:57

I don't but my dd usually wants a Xmas jumper hat or earrings

everywhichway · 23/09/2021 11:23
