So the previous thread is nearly full up.

Wanna start this new one?

To go on the millennium wheel extremely out of character for me as I shake at heights but I forced myself although I was a wreck

Have you got any bad habits you want to stop for the sake of your health?

Chocolatier9 · 14/09/2021 12:08

My attitude to food. I eat to live which means a bad habit of eating quick and easy so I can do something else more interesting then being too tired to cook and the cycle continues…

Have you ever dropped a friend?

PopsicleHustler · 14/09/2021 12:14

Yes, she promised me she would be there for the birth of my baby and ended up going to her boyfriends mates birthday party. When we called to say we are in hospital and things are picking up she said she is too tried to come and is currently at a party. After that, I barely heard from her and I also got fed up of her constantly cancelling plans to meet so she could walk her dog. Even literally minutes before meeting she had decided to go out with her mum or walk the dog instead. Which happened so many times.

What's the worst place you could think of to go on holiday?

StarlightLady · 14/09/2021 12:14

Yes! Because of their racist views.

Do you get to the airport just in time or way too early?

Chocolatier9 · 14/09/2021 12:36

I think I’d find it hard to relax in rural Australia. The length of the flight, the size of the beasties.

I always get to the airport too early. And then I buy anti sickness pills to overdose on. God, I hate flying.

Have you ever been dropped as a friend?

MydogWillow · 14/09/2021 13:18

Yes. Circumstances were all very strange. Took me about 3 years to get over.

Any tattoos?

Mariell · 14/09/2021 13:30

No and I don’t intend to get one either!

Although the way we are heading we might have to be prepared to fight off having barcodes tattooed on our bottoms to identify us!

If you do have a tattoo what is the story behind it?

kissmelittleass · 14/09/2021 20:35

No tattoos

Name five things you like about yourself

everywhichway · 14/09/2021 22:25

Honesty, Sincerity, Optimism, Resilience, Sense of Humour.

Please don't ask me to list the things I dislike.

Your five favourite possessions?

Patchwork quilt made by me, another quilt made by 'our group', lovely coat, blue and white teapot, sewing machine.

How long is it since you had your eyes tested? Are you horrified at the cost of glasses?

lightand · 15/09/2021 16:40

Had my eyes tested about 1 year ago[was able to get them tested then, as I had long covid, so they were happy to see how that had affected my eyes, as I was having a problem - thankfully it was nothing to do with long covid].

Cost of glasses - havent needed a new pair for 3 years. At the time I bought a cheap pair, was 2nd cheapest in the shop. Bit regretting it now, as they are loose and flimsy, but hey ho, they will probably last a bit longer yet.

[noticed above that no one came on to say about their tattoo. Maybe amongst MNs there are few tattoos]??

Are you afraid of heights?

Chocolatier9 · 15/09/2021 16:59

No, but I do get a strange urge to jump when I’m at a height and look down.

Your favourite vegetable?

LittleGh0st · 15/09/2021 17:01

I didn't used to be, but my husband is and it seems to have rubbed off a bit! I'm nowhere near as bad as him though.

I'll answer the tattoo one though. I have one, a butterfly on my foot. My sister did it. I told her she could do one when she'd finished her tattoo apprenticeship. She's a really highly regarded tattoo artist now.

What's your favourite cocktail?

everywhichway · 15/09/2021 17:26

Margarita

What little things drive you disproportionately mad?

OP posts:
LittleGh0st · 15/09/2021 17:58

Superfluous punctuation.

And I like most vegetables but I'd probably say parsnips.

Which animal would you most like to be and why?

Chocolatier9 · 15/09/2021 18:33

I’d like to be a well loved cat. Specifically, my cat. She’s beautiful, spoilt, funny and she thinks she’s marvellous. I know that my life would be so much easier if I was beautiful and self-confident.

What single virtue, feature or thing would massively improve your life?

MakeMineAdoubleChocolate · 16/09/2021 11:28

Having a nanny to help with the school run, I don't drive and my daughters new school is up a horrific hill that leaves me breathless. I struggle with it everyday and am always late, plus I am asthmatic and have only 15 minutes to get up the hill of death after dropping my other son at his school. Its hard work, so would love a nanny to do this. I don't drive either. And I dread it every day.

If you could buy any 10 things right now and have them for free, what would they be?

Mariell · 16/09/2021 11:57

Ten Whippets and Greyhounds.

What popular hairstyle from the last 100 years would suit you the most?

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 12:19

70's long hippy vibe

What is your view at the moment

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 12:20

As in vista, not opinion!

everywhichway · 16/09/2021 14:17

The garden - with bees a buzzin' all around.

The worst piece of advice that you've ever taken?

OP posts:
kissmelittleass · 16/09/2021 15:51

To move

How often would you have a alcoholic drink ?

Chocolatier9 · 16/09/2021 16:09

“Straighten your hair”.

Have you ever been on stage and did you enjoy it?

Chocolatier9 · 16/09/2021 16:10

Sorry x post

MydogWillow · 16/09/2021 17:07

@kissmelittleass
One glass of wine Fri, Sat and one with a roast

@Chocolatier9
Played the glockenspiel in our schools concert at a major venue. Was at the front and looked up to see my teachers and the parents. Shook so much I didn't play a note but pretended to. Must have been hilarious to anyone watching!

Do you do any regular forms of exercise?
