Underwear under pjs.

Dd attended a sleepover and told me that all the girls wear pants under their pjs and they laughed at my dd as she just put her pjs on with no underwear.
I've never worn underwear under my nightwear. I thought it was good to let the area breathe at night!!!
Or is this just something my mum has taught me and does everyone else wear underwear under nightwear?!
Worried I've been doing it wrong for the past 40 years!

Nope no pants, it's time to relax in bed. In fact I sleep with nothing on😂!

Kids sleep in pjs without undies, total comfort in our house 😂

Out of curiosity for those wearing pants, is it the same pants as during the day? (I wear no pants but wash PJ's after one wear)

It depends if I've showered before bed. Fresh pants if I have. If not I'll keep the same ones on I've worn all day. Unless it's a thong - can't wear a thong to bed.

Never once had a yeast infection. Clean pants at night, clean pants in the morning.

Only ever had one yeast infection (when I was a student) not had one for 20 years. I've worn pants to bed every night since I was about 11!

Always pants. If it's warm I don't wear ph bottoms at all but I prefer to keep a barrier between mucous membranes and clothing and/or sheets: plus I generally feel more comfortable anyway. Dc always wear pants too.

Always worn pants, clean comfy ones for night time, in fact that's all I wear to bed as I don't find tops comfortable.

I've never had Thrush, now I'm wondering if its all the special breathing some people seem to do (in many times worn pyjama bottoms) that causes it.

I’m just not comfortable without pants 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s surely up to each person. DH just wears his boxers.

The less I wear the more comfy I am.

I usually sleep naked.
I only wear pyjamas if Dh is away and I’m home alone, I’m stopping at one of my daughters homes or if grandkiddies are here.

No need to wear knickers in bed, let a bit of air around my fanny. Couldn’t stand to sleep in knickers or a bra.

Pants here but we have sleep pants that are in a diff pile to daytime pants !!!
As an adult night pant wearer I buy bigger cotton pants for sleeping in !!!
