What is your biggest regret in life?

Not going to university. School wanted me to go on to sixth form, mum said no, you need to start earning. I eventually persuaded her that I could do a practical course at a technical college and pay my keep with part time work. Technical colleges didn’t do A levels but they did the RSA grade equivalent and I won national first prize for English.

Nearly 60 now, I’m considering OU.

What’s your number one desert island disc and your luxury?

Disc would be an audiobook 🙈 maybe Lord of the Rings. Luxury would be a pillow!

If you could live in any town/city/area in the world where would it be?

The one where I live now.

Not terribly keen on insects. I’ll go for grasshopper. Not sure if they are insects!

If every wall in your house has to be painted one colour and you had to choose between black, red, grass green or orange which one would you choose?

(Probably not the done thing to jump on again so quickly so please ignore me everyone else. But Gallasia, a. love grasshoppers, they’re just fascinating and b. I think that’s the most brilliant question! Grass green at a stretch. What an hideous choice!)
