We've not had one of these for some time now!

Anyone up for another?

Yes, a fair bit of fruit. No veg though.

What are your pet hates?

OP posts:
Galassia · 19/08/2021 02:56

Leftists, wokeness, my crochet hook disappearing into thin air as I work on something.

Are you good at time keeping?

kissmelittleass · 19/08/2021 03:43

Very good I'm always punctual

Do you have any health conditions that worry you?

LiJo2015 · 19/08/2021 04:26

Dodgy right knee that keeps dislocating, cysts on my ovaries that are getting bigger, up and down mental health with ptsd, very high BMI

If you could do a do over of one event in your life what would it be?

yahyahs22 · 19/08/2021 08:07

When my mum was dying. I would be less of a coward.

What scares you most about life?

Galassia · 19/08/2021 09:11

Family and pets dying prematurely.

You can have your dream house for free on the condition that for the next three years you are an exotic dancer/stripper three nights a week. Yes or no?

MrsSkylerWhite · 19/08/2021 09:13

I might but I don’t think there’d be many paying customers 🤣

Do you like picnics?

StarlightLady · 19/08/2021 09:22

Preferably with Bollinger Champagne!

Do you like wearing summer dresses?

everywhichway · 19/08/2021 09:26

....and without the wasps I guess, Starlight.

Summer dresses are not really my thing.

What cheers you up when you're feeling blue?

OP posts:
Galassia · 19/08/2021 10:44

I don’t feel blue or down as I have a good life but I do worry about elderly family sometimes so I try to focus on remembering happy memories rather than dwelling on their poor health.

Hot air balloon or helicopter ride over somewhere scenic?

marmaladehound · 19/08/2021 11:16

Hot air balloon. Helicopters just scare me!

Sky dive or bungy jump?

Galassia · 19/08/2021 11:36

Sky Dive. My aunt was clear doe over five years from breast cancer then was holidaying in Australia and foolishly got talked into doing a bungee jump and within a a couple of weeks her breast cancer had returned and rapidly went global and she died.

We believe that the bungee jump was a tremendous shock on her body ( she was in her 50s). That’s just our theory.

Do you hand write much these days and if so do you have a lovely pen?

Coffeeanddarkchoc · 19/08/2021 11:41

Only writing notes in my work diary so I dont forget to do things. I currently use the bic pens which can be changed between 4 colours and are a novelty for me again at the minute. My memory has been terrible since having DC and I need to write things down before I forget them.

Do you have any pets? If not, would you like one?

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 19/08/2021 12:04

@marmaladehound

I used to do parachute jumping as a sport, then later went on a hot airballoon ride and it made me, ummm, a bit anxious 🤣
helicopters for me, any day!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 19/08/2021 12:05

we have 2 chickens, Bingo & Coco.
I'd love a Rhodesian Ridgeback but not ready for it.

could you sew a piece of clothing to save your life?

everywhichway · 19/08/2021 12:11

Does sewing buttons on count? Done a few of those.

Your biggest fashion disaster?

OP posts:
marmaladehound · 19/08/2021 12:52

Every single day of my teenage years was a fashion disaster! Think purple polka dot rara skirt, ripped jeans so my bum was pretty much hanging out, awful haircuts, baseball bomber jackets... the list goes on. Happily I was totally oblivious and thought I was just too cool! Now I don't follow fashion at all, so no room for any disasters Wink

Absence makes the heart grow fonder or out of sight, out of mind? Which one do you believe?

Magicstars · 19/08/2021 13:00

Plasters.

No idea what PWR is!

Beards - do you love or loathe them?

Eviebeans · 19/08/2021 13:11

Luckily I don't have a beard -yet-so hard to judge!

Who were you most pleased to meet up with again when lockdown restrictions lifted?

StarlightLady · 19/08/2021 15:15

My sister.

Best thing that has happened to you this month?

LostThings · 19/08/2021 16:37

Seeing the sea again.

Favourite current tv programme?

Chocolatier9 · 19/08/2021 16:59

Black-ish.

There’s a knock at the door. When you open it, it’s Death. Do you offer him:

(a) a game of chess, or
(b) a cup of tea and a Hob-Nob?

Galassia · 19/08/2021 17:06

No tea kept in this house and no hob nobs either. I wouldn’t fancy taking him on in a game of chess so perhaps a compromise of some cherry juice and a game of Ludo will suffice.

What food product do you hate so much that even for £1 million you would not be able to eat?

Coffeeanddarkchoc · 19/08/2021 17:12

I'd really struggle to keep down ice cream or coke.

When was your favourite ever christmas, and why was it your favourite?

Chocolatier9 · 19/08/2021 17:40

This is going to sound very weird but my best ever Christmas was when I was 18 and worked Christmas Day at an old people’s home. It would take too long to explain why but it was at least partly because I had some stuff to work through and I love snow, laundry and ironing.

Have you been disappointed by this summer’s weather?
