We've not had one of these for some time now!

Anyone up for another?

The twin towers crash 😢

If you could move anywhere in the world where would it be?

SwimmingUnderwater · 17/08/2021 09:32

France

Have you had a near death experience?

SwimmingUnderwater · 17/08/2021 09:41

@ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba

He stated "All lives matter". I blocked him.

what's the worst news image on tv you remember from your childhood?

So you don't believe that all lives matter then? Bizarre.
Galassia · 17/08/2021 09:45

All lives do matter though. Except for spiders. And my ex.

Near death experience. A few times. Illness, skiing spring to mind.

Have you ever used or do you use dry shampoo?

MrsSkylerWhite · 17/08/2021 09:47

(Spider lives matter!)

Yes, sailed through the 80s using dry-shampoo after work. Memories Grin

Would you suit a pixie cut?

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 17/08/2021 09:48

@SwimmingUnderwater

That's not what I said & that's not what it means. Please educate yourself on the 'Black Lives Matter" subject.

everywhichway · 17/08/2021 09:56

A Pixie cut? Erm, no.

What brings out the best in you?

OP posts:
Chocolatier9 · 17/08/2021 11:00

A crisis. Helping people at the beginning of lockdown made me feel alive for the first time in years and taught me so much about myself. Turns out that an adolescence spent permanently on the alert in a politically unstable country was good for something after all.

Have you ever surprised yourself?

Galassia · 17/08/2021 11:08

Every morning when I look in the bathroom mirror! Who the hell is that old woman? 😩

Riverdance, like it or not?

Chocolatier9 · 17/08/2021 11:19

Like it very much. You’ve just reminded me that I haven’t YouTubed it and danced round the sitting room pretending to be young, slim and Irishly beautiful for a long time Grin

Do you ever dance madly and badly when no one’s watching?

everywhichway · 17/08/2021 11:31

Not madly, or that often, but pretty badly - and certainly when no-one's watching.

What's the most ridiculous thing anyone's ever said to you?

OP posts:
LaBellina · 17/08/2021 11:34

That I - as a child- was responsible for my parents marriage problems.

How many make up products do you use on a daily base?

SwimmingUnderwater · 17/08/2021 11:34

[quote ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba]@SwimmingUnderwater

I don’t need to be ‘educated’ thank you. We don’t live in the Cultural Revolution thank God... yet.
I’m well aware about BLM . That doesn’t change the fact that every life matters equally.

Galassia · 17/08/2021 11:40

Make up products -

Primer, foundation/bb/cc cream/tinted moisturiser etc, concealer, setting powder, bronzer, blusher, highlighter, eyeshadows, eyeliner, lip product, mascara.

Takes me less than five minutes. I use more at other times but that’s the daily routine.

What’s your favourite charity?

Summernamechange2021 · 17/08/2021 11:51

I've changed over the last couple of years and support less charities but give more money to more local schools and clubs that support children with SN.

What was the moat thoughtful present you ever received?

KarenofSparta · 17/08/2021 12:12

Re: all lives matter in the context of pp.

I hate derailing so I shall just leave this here & hope some of you can decuntify yourselves:

A birthday weekend in Hay on Wye.

What’s the title of the book nearest to you at the moment?

everywhichway · 17/08/2021 13:04

320 Italian Recipes. Of which, I'm still to make 320.

Your most embarrassing moment?

OP posts:
StarlightLady · 17/08/2021 13:09

Single button pinging off wrap around skirt which totally unwrapped itself in Selfridges on an escalator. It then dropped to the steps and got caught in the “teeth” as l wrestled to get it back.

Nicest surprise in the past 2 years?

CorpusCallosum · 17/08/2021 13:54

A holiday as a birthday present revealed via a treasure hunt - it was amazing!!! 😍

What has been your favourite ever item of clothing? Past or present.

Chocolatier9 · 17/08/2021 14:40

(Torn between second hand embarrassment and laughter @StarlightLady. Wrap around skirts are bloody lethal)

FlowerPower3110 · 17/08/2021 14:51

What has been your favourite ever item of clothing? Past or present.
When I was younger (all through the 90s and early 2000s) I insisted on wearing a headband Every. Single. Day.

Do you prefer heels or flats?

Mommabear20 · 17/08/2021 14:53

My fleece pyjamas that I've had since I was 12 and still fit 😂

Which 1 food or drink could you never give up?

everywhichway · 17/08/2021 15:14

Tea

Other than robbing a bank, what crime would you commit if you thought you could get away with it?

OP posts:
Chocolatier9 · 17/08/2021 15:31

I would burgle Berganza’s in Hatton Garden.

What does your DP find most infuriating about you?
