Not infuriated, more like exasperated when I can’t remember if I’ve left something on or forgot to turn something on!

If you only could hear one song for the rest of your life what would it be?

I think I'd rather have silence than the same song over and over again.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

Strong, caring, reliable, content, (bit) insecure.

How would you cope if you were shipwrecked alone?

Die a painful death because I hate fish and can't kill animals to (literally) save my life.

What do you think happens after death?

Terribly! I’m a vegetarian so no killing of animals or fish to eat and I’m a bit precious so unlikely to do any DIY and build a log cabin.

Favourite sandwich filling?

Egg mayo.

Tea or coffee?

The thought of Sri king tea makes me feel ill. I prefer an iced coffee to a hot one as not keen on hot coffee.

If knee high socks were all the rage would you wear them?

No, I would be a sockless rebel!

Puff sleeves; stylish or impractical?

For me I couldn't wear puff sleeves they remind me of the eighties and so I will say impractical!

How do you feel about ageing and getting older in general?

Enjoying the liberation that comes with getting older. Don’t enjoy the physical niggles though.

Do you like pigeons and seagulls?

Yes. I especially love seagulls.

Do you buy sweets for yourself? Liquorice all sorts, that kind of thing.

No. Only chocolate. And only for it's health benefits, you understand.

When you have time to yourself, what do you most like to do?

any of the following: sleep, crochet/knit/sew while watching my programmes (currently Glee on Netflix), get on with something that's quicker without kids around, like cleaning the fridges.

how long ago was the last time you visited a zoo?

Three years ago this summer love the zoo!

Have you ever cheated on a partner and why

Yes, existing relationship was on very rocky ground. Cheated with on old FWB who was fully aware of the situation. Partner never knew, relationship ended shortly after for existing reasons although I was clearly looking for a way out. Long time ago.

What do you keep putting off doing?

I have ADHD so that's a very long list!🤣
trying out my overlocker comes to mind. I bought it 3 years ago.

what's for dinner?

Turkey burgers today. I'm trying to lose weight and DP is away with work until Friday so the turkey burgers are ideal when its me on my own.

When was the last time you left the country you are in, and where did you go?

Lord - just over 2 years ago to America to visit family (so literally just about as far west and east as you could go!).

My tip for today - you can hide minor scratches on wood with a broken walnut rubbed gently on the scratch. What’s your tip for today?

Rarely eat cakes or desserts but if I was pressed I'd say apple crumble

Have you ever done anything that you are ashamed of now and regret?

As a child growing up in the southern US, if we ever did anything that adults didn't approve of we were sternly told, "You should be ashamed of yourself!" So I suppose my shameful deeds are too numerous to list my regret is that I was I listened to them and felt unnecessary shame

Do you wish you could speak another language?

Yes, Russian or Italian, both are so beautiful.
