I’ve never given it much thought, I just trust whatever the charity asking for says it needs. (Is there a particular argument one way or the other?)

What’s the main event on your table at Christmas? Turkey, goose, nut roast, something else?

Might be lasagne this year.

I love something I can reheat lasagne/pasta bake. If no microwave available then a chicken wrap with side salad.

When do you normally start your christmas shopping?

Around November.

Start of December.... too many November birthdays to think about Xmas earlier and I am not organised enough to start before November!

I want to say no but I have found that I get on better or don’t get in well with people with certain star signs.

Favourite flowers: currently peonies.

Strangest thing eaten: not me but DP. In Tunisia he got the most expensive pizza on the menu. It was loaded with so many toppings you couldnt actually make out what was on it. He bit into a slice and egg yolk started running and dripping everywhere - a fried egg on top of a pizza!

Which reminds me of doing something that we thought was legal there, but actually turned out not to be (getting a tattoo). So next question, have you ever done something illegal that you didnt actually realise was illegal at the time?

Not directly but a friend passed her driving test, assured herself and me that she could “drive on her certificate” although her licence hadnt arrived and off we went down the motorway to Cornwall. The stupidity and courage of youth!

I had a vibrator in my luggage when l went to Thailand. I didn’t know they were unlawful there.

Courage. There is so much I want to do but am frightened of. (if you know the secret to acquiring some let me know).

Takeaway from our favourite Chinese restaurant & a bottle of wine. We have a 4 mo that has just started to go to bed a little earlier so getting our evenings back a little and some time with DH without children 😂
