Friend lost one, thought it had rolled under the sofa, turns out the dog found it before her and buried it in the garden, her FIL dug it up a couple of years later when helping to dig foundations for a shed.

A women was once deep cleaning her living room on a dreary Sunday, when she pulled back the sofa to find a flesh eating demon. It engulfed her whole and she was never seen again. The only evidence left behind was a suspicious smear of blood and a Mumsnet thread...

Good luck, I've just found the V5 document for the car, 15 months after OH died, he tended to put things in the oddest places, this was with a load of insurance documents from 6 years ago I was throwing out.
