Tell me about your delicious unusual crisp finds

By unusual I mean anything and everything other than cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, ready salted! For as long as I can remember those are the only flavours I’ve ever eaten. I love food and different flavours and will eat anything but the thought of those flavours or meals as crisps was just odd to me

Yesterday I was at a bbq and they had none of my bog standard flavours. Usually I wouldn’t try it at all but I thought after the year I had, I thought let me live a little Omg so good! One was sweet chilli and the other roast chicken & thyme. On my way back home yesterday I bought a McCoy’s steak flavour for later today.

What else have I been missing out on??

Home bargains have them. They also had Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard last week @MrsFezziwig - the Smoked Ham and Pickle haven't been there for a long time though.

You can get Tangy Toms from newsagents as well.

I got a multipack in Aldi recently!

Get yourself anything from the Kettle Chips or Tyrells range, you won't regret it

I went on a shopping spree and bought the following:
Monster munch
Pringles sour cream & chive
Cofresh chilli & lime
Worcester sauce
Sensations lime & coriander
Piper’s rosemary & thyme
Co-op truffle & cheese

I went to three different supermarkets so thankfully I didn’t get any are you crazy looks

So far I have tried the monster munch (yum!) and Co-op truffle which is good but not my favourite. I couldn’t eat more than a handful! Most of the slices were either too truffley or too cheddary.

@walkoflifewoohoo where do you live? I’m willing to travel!

I really recommend Popchips BBQ flavour, Pipers rosemary and thyme and Pipers other flavours like chorizo or longhorn beef if people like meat flavour crisps.

My personal favourite will always be walkers prawn cocktail. Most people I know hate them though!

I'd also really recommend walkers Sunbites sweet chilli flavour. The sour cream ones are very nice too.

I love a frazzle, especially in a sandwich made with thick white sliced loaf and salad cream. Hard to beat.

Another vote for Paprika Crunchips. Red Chilli Crunchips are also nice. I really got into paprika crisps after visiting Germany where there were huge bags of them in all the supermarkets. Slightly bizarrely the little shop at my local hospital sells the Crunchips but I think they are in a few larger supermarkets too

Ooh I love a crisps thread. I recommend paprika Pringles, sour cream and chive Walkers Baked, crunchy cheesy Cheetos (used to be widely available, now seem to be USA only but Wilkos sells them).

In Germany several years ago I had some fantastic honey and mustard crisps from Lidl with a crocodile on the bag, I can't find them in the UK though (I search every Lidl I go in ...)

Bags of crispy deliciousness 😋. Less salty and oily than Walkers.

Chocolate crisps. I discovered them when travelling in Indonesia. I thought they'd be awful, but just had to try them. They are far from awful, they were bloody lovely & still miss them & occasionally buy them online

Kettle chips sour cream and chilli. M&S crinkle cut chicken katsu curry.

Aldi lentil crisps, dear God I have to RUN past them in store to stop my self buying them as I eat the whole bloody packet!

My current fave are Mackies Haggis and Cracked Black Pepper. Not sure if they're in Scotland only?

These are my favourites too but I’ve only ever seen them in Scotland so not had any for a couple of years now ☹️

I used to love Seabrooks Canadian Ham but I haven't seen any in years.

I've put them on my sainsburys shopping list. So fingers crossed they turn up and aren't substituted for a different flavour

In Canada there is a flavor called “all dressed.” If you are ever able to try it I suggest you by TWO BAGS!

I’m hoping to go home today and, if I do, I will be forcing my dd (who is coming to collect me) to stop for crisps at the first opportunity!
