Tell me about your delicious unusual crisp finds

By unusual I mean anything and everything other than cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, ready salted! For as long as I can remember those are the only flavours I’ve ever eaten. I love food and different flavours and will eat anything but the thought of those flavours or meals as crisps was just odd to me Confused

Yesterday I was at a bbq and they had none of my bog standard flavours. Usually I wouldn’t try it at all but I thought after the year I had, I thought let me live a little Grin Omg so good! One was sweet chilli and the other roast chicken & thyme. On my way back home yesterday I bought a McCoy’s steak flavour for later today.

What else have I been missing out on??

Co-op vegetable nachos. We put cheese on top and grilled them, heavenly!

Gorkastalker · 27/06/2021 21:59

I got these for the DC and I had a bag in desperation the other day. They are absolutely gorgeous!

Those suggesting roysters tbone steak, could you please share where you're getting them from? I love those, but didn't realise they still made them. Haven't seen them in about twenty years.

MrsFezziwig · 28/06/2021 02:01

@Mammyloveswine

Brannigans beef and horseradish., mmmm so thick and crunchy..hard to find these days but Poundland or home bargains often gave them,
Not any more, as per my post above - they are no longer being manufactured.

*@lostintime* quite a few places have them - I’ve seen them recently in Asda, B & M and Home Bargains.

Sounds like kfc crisps don't taste like kfc but may be worth a try anyway!

@LeanneBrownsLonelyBraincell

Lays Oregano ones. Only ever found them in Greece though so slightly unhelpful
I was always of the opinion that anything other than ready salted was an abomination, until I discovered lays oregano. I have since changed my mind.

@IntroducingMyLadyGarden

Do we have a verdict on crispgate yet? Deep trauma, it's the only explanation
No trauma or anything exciting. It seems it’s a very mundane reason of only wanting ‘blue’ or ‘green’ crisps. Nothing to do with the flavours just the colours of the packets.
