Tell me about your delicious unusual crisp finds

By unusual I mean anything and everything other than cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, ready salted! For as long as I can remember those are the only flavours I’ve ever eaten. I love food and different flavours and will eat anything but the thought of those flavours or meals as crisps was just odd to me

Yesterday I was at a bbq and they had none of my bog standard flavours. Usually I wouldn’t try it at all but I thought after the year I had, I thought let me live a little Omg so good! One was sweet chilli and the other roast chicken & thyme. On my way back home yesterday I bought a McCoy’s steak flavour for later today.

What else have I been missing out on??

M&S pulled pork crinkled crisps!!! Omg!! To die for!!

In Russia I found crab flavoured Pringles and mushroom flavoured Pringles. I was in heaven

I love fish and chip flavoured seabrooks

I'm not sure if they still sell them but a few months ago we bought a share bag of crisps from sainsburys that tasted just like lamb koftas, delicious! I think they were their taste the difference range

Most Mackie’s crisps - they’re like old fashioned crisps and tasty!

See, I don’t really like Mackie’s. They taste really artificial to me and have way to much seasoning powder on them. They’re actually really messy to eat while not having much flavour at all.

@PopCantStop if you like truffle flavour then you HAVE to get Torres black truffle potato chips. They also have a cheese flavour that’s basically manchego.

Also if you just love really good olive oil potato chips/crisps, these ones are also to die for www.souschef.co.uk/products/sarriegui-patatas-fritas-extra-virgin-olive-oil-crisps. A couple months ago I did a big order of the Torres black truffle, cured cheese, smoked paprika and several bags of the Sarriegui extra virgin olive oil. I had to make OH ration his intake because he was plowing through them like water. 😬

I’ve been meaning to make another order and I may just have to tonight due to this thread.

I don’t know why or how it happened. It’s never been questioned. For family or close friend gatherings it became this unwritten rule that if there were ‘different’ flavours then regular ones were set aside for me. I’ll ask my mum if there’s some kind of a crispgate lurking in my childhood.

We also did this growing up! So good! My Dad started the craze in our house. Also, ready salted in a bowl with ketchup on the side. Again, don’t knock it til you’ve tried it!

I was trawling the Sainsburys snack section online the other day, and came across doner kebab flavoured Pringles. Not tried them yet……

When I was working in Nepal, while everyone else was suffering from altitude sickness as we drove, I was tucking into mayonnaise flavour pringles. A burly American colleague threw them out of the window in frustration.

Not had these for yonks but Brannigans beef and mustard were the bomb. Dd is addicted to sour cream pringles also.

The Brannigans ones have been discontinued due to lack of demand (given the amount I used to buy I find this difficult to believe). If anyone can point me to anything similar….
