I adore a plain, beautifully cooked and seasoned omelette. At most with a few chopped herbs but cooked on its own is fine. Served with a green salad - something like fresh little gem lettuce leaves or pea shoots - dressed lightly with lemon and olive oil.

A soft-boiled egg with plenty of salt, eaten with a teaspoon, makes a great snack.

Dippy eggs.
Scrambled eggs, salt, pepper, a sliced tomato with a drizzle of garlic oil.

Crisps 😁

Hot buttered toast is the ultimate.

Marmite pasta. Oh and that millisecond when peaches are perfectly ripe. I'm also eating this salad most days lettuce leaves, cucumber and tomato with mint feta and watermelon added - it's so delicious and takes about a minute to make!

Melted cheese on toast sometimes with tomatoes on top.
Also garlic bread. I honestly have slight addiction to it. At one point I was doing it with everything lol

Salmon filet cooked with the skin on and still very pink inside served with green beans.

Watermelon with feta, olives and basil. Perfect for a hot summers evening.

Prawns drowning in butter and lemon with parsley and crusty bread.
