he is angry i haven't waxed down there?

In fact he’s angry about most things.

Without going into too much detail, I keep hair short down there but never go for a wax. It’s not bushy or long. I shave regularly. I just don’t want a wax. He said the other day that I must be the only woman who is happy with that and he’s shocked I don’t want my arsehole waxed specifically.

Other comments have been why do I think it’s ok not to wear heels into the office. Why do I slob out in a tracksuit when home from work. Why don’t I wear make up everyday. Why does my eyeliner wear off during the day...he’s noticed our mutual friend’s eyeliners stays on an entire night and looks the same from 7pm to 11pm, would I like him to get me the same one?? Hmm

Recently I moved during sex as felt slight pain due to the position. I just wanted to re position. He pulled out and stormed off slamming the door saying what’s wrong with me?? I started to cry. The next morning he looked at me and mockingly sniggered and said who cries during sex?

I’m just so sad. No other ties to him so could leave easily. I’m 36, 37 at the end of the year though. It’s so scary to think about starting over. I feel sick when I think about staying and sick when I think about leaving. I will end up alone either way.

There are other ways of having a family and it should not be with this man.

Starting over will be scary but a lot less terrifying than your life with this pond scum (actually that’s insulting to pond scum because it serves a purpose).

Please, please recognise that you deserve so much more than this. You deserve to be treated well. No real man, partner etc will ever make you feel the way you do now. This is no way to treat some one you’re supposed to love and respect.

Sending you hugs OP - you are strong enough to get through this! xx

Keepitonthedownlow · 22/05/2021 10:16

He will ruin your life if you stay Flowers

mogtheexcellent · 22/05/2021 10:17

Leave. As

Letsgetreadytocrumble · 22/05/2021 10:17

Jesus Christ, bin this man - do it today, do it right now!

You absolutely cannot have children with him anyway, so please do not waste a second more of your life on him. You deserve much much better than this utter piece of shit.

FrangipaniDeLaSqueegeeMop · 22/05/2021 10:18

Leave. Please, just leave. he can buy himself a sex doll that he can put make up on, which is clearly what he wants. You are a human being however, and you deserve better

mogtheexcellent · 22/05/2021 10:18

Sorry accidental post.

He's a delight. Leave. Id rather be alone than with someone like him.

PurpleSunrise · 22/05/2021 10:18

If you stay you’ll just be coming back writing the same thing in one year, five years, 10 years. Please don’t bring kids into this Sad

WineAcademy · 22/05/2021 10:19

You should be more afraid of having children with such a vile piece of shit.

He is not worth the oxygen he consumes. Leave him, and find ways to be happy on your own. You could even have a child alone, which would be a different kind of stress, but nothing like what you are experiencing now.

Flowerclock · 22/05/2021 10:19

You deserve so much, much better than this idiot.

He wants a doll. Not a wife.

Please do not have children with this idiot.

RampantIvy · 22/05/2021 10:20

Please get rid. He will never add anything to your life. He is sucking away your self esteem. You will be far better off without him.

Empressofthemundane · 22/05/2021 10:20

You need to leave this man now.

You are wasting your time, you want a family. You still can. But not with this man. You can’t fritter anymore time away on him. He is not a viable option. Start moving forward with your life. Do it now.

mogtheexcellent · 22/05/2021 10:20

Fwiw I met DH at 38 and we have a family. I never shave. In fact have 6 months worth of hair on legs as we speak let alone touch my foof.
Dh hasn't mentioned it once.

Outbutnotoutout · 22/05/2021 10:21

I was 49 and current partner 52 we both left our respective expartners and started again.

Best thing we ever did.

Don't stay with an abusive arsehole, it will never get better only worse.

37 is just a baby, get out and live and be loved

dottiedodah · 22/05/2021 10:21

I feel for you and your worries about "starting again" .However the only thing worse than staying with this stupid prick ,would be having a baby with him! He would be a dreadful father and terrible husband! Please please dont stay another moment .Can you go to a friend or relative for a while? Do you have the means to start again financially ,would they be able to help you? Try Womens Aid for help as well .Good luck .Many nice guys out there ,please dont settle for this horrid man xx

LemonadeFromLemons · 22/05/2021 10:21

OP, from your post it sounds like you know you have to leave and deep down you know that you will...eventually. I’d urge you not to waste another second with him. Get up, walk out and start living your life! Perhaps you don’t believe it, but you deserve so much more than this, everybody does.

Newnamefor2021 · 22/05/2021 10:22

Leave, it's hard to do but you'll look back and thank yourself.

Polkadots2021 · 22/05/2021 10:22

Oh good lord, please read this back to yourself - your partner is angry that you don't wax your asshole. Of all the things I thought I'd type today, that sentence was certainly not one of them.

You are very lucky to be young, no ties, to dump him today and say 'this is the start of the rest of my life' tomorrow. Please for the love of God dump this person. He is repellent.

And a well meaning reality check - of course you'll meet someone else. You're young & have an amazing life ahead of you if you choose to take.it.

Bananalanacake · 22/05/2021 10:23

Do you own or rent the property you live in. Living alone would be way better than living with him. I'm surprised he hasn't pressured you to having a baby already, abusers can do this so it's more difficult for you to leave.

malikaqi · 22/05/2021 10:23

Please leave. I know wanting children make that a scary proposition, but this is no way to live.

BananasAboutBananas · 22/05/2021 10:23

You are wasting your time with him, when you could be meeting other people and starting a lovely life. You could easily be married and pregnant by 40! Cut him loose today and start looking for the one who makes you really happy.

DJattheendoftheworld · 22/05/2021 10:24

Sounds just like my ex. He is abusing you and though starting over may seem scary, you will be so much happier.

Tell him you'll wax your arsehole if he'll stay still long enough. Then chuck the arsehole out.

You deserve better x

schofieldsunderpants · 22/05/2021 10:24

Leave the utter bastard

Please OP, you deserve better than that specimen

user11838686969686 · 22/05/2021 10:24

@HollowTalk

But you wouldn't want his child anyway, would you? Can you imagine what it would be like being tied to him when you have a baby as well? It would just give him even more opportunity to abuse you. And if you decided to leave then, he would make your life absolute hell.
And he would abuse the baby.

Please leave him. I know it's scary, but throwing away the whole rest of your life to be abused by him is so much scarier.

Your life can get so much better once he's gone.

Zilla1 · 22/05/2021 10:24

You're probably not even half way through your adult life yet, OP, and even if you were, there's the 'sunk cost' fallacy.

Barring a personality transplant, is he going to get better, no matter what changes and contortions you make?

If he said 'who cries during sex' but who doesn't move if they're uncomfortable?

Do you think he sees you as a real person or an object?

Kick him to the kerbside and find someone worthy to have a child with.

It's a shame if you don't feel safe enough to start a running commentary on his behaviour, appearance and sexual practice though you might think that it says something important if you don't feel safe enough to say anything similar to his comments.

Good luck.

NotDavidTennant · 22/05/2021 10:25

At 37 it's not too late to have a family, but it will end up being too late if you waste more time with this loser.
