Food you love but can't get any more

Let me lead with the Waitrose pecorino and back dip. They've discontinued it and I have no idea why. I have been whingeing about it for two years now why would you discontinue such a popular product ?

I am just hoping the pork and iberico chorizo sausage rolls, also from waitrose, don't go the same way. It's been ages since I've seen them on the shelves.

Not only is it lockdown with nowt eke to think about but for, but I'm on a calorie controlled diet atm trying to get back in my dinner clothes before the weather warns up! All I can think about is eating.

What foods do you miss? Have they been discontinued? Can you only get them in a location you can't access? Are you trying to lose the lockdown lbs? Please make me feel better about being an obsessive foodie by joining me!

Cannot get broccoli and Stilton soup anywhere...it really is my favourite soup.

Not sure of the make but DM used to buy “ Breakfast Slices” but haven’t seen them for years. They remind me of camping holidays as a kid. Also Instant Whip. I was never a big fan of Angel Delight but butterscotch Instant Whip was to die for!

Malted milk creams (like custard creams but with malted milk biscuits). They were amazing.

Aldi's Aberdeen Angus steak and red wine crisps. They were so unbelievably good and haven't seen them for a couple of years now.

Homepride Garlic & Herb Potato bake - I absolutely adored this

Morrisons did a gorgeous mushroom pate but I've never found it again (searched in 5/6 stores) I'm a good cook but even I can't make it the same

Good to know it’s still around. Have only tried Waitrose and Aldi, might make a special trip to Tesco!

M&S chicken tikka sandwich . I will miss it forever

Great for soup and pasta sauces.

Another vote for recipe changes - creme eggs aren’t as nice as they were. Also M & S prawn mayo sandwiches. They used to be my absolute favourite & were always really well filled. But for some reason they changed & ended up being a bit limp & with a lot fewer prawns. I don’t bother now.

I haven’t seen Ski pear or pineapple yogurt for years. Particularly loved the pear flavour.
