I can't believe how many people there are really close to it! if it was the UK there would be people trying to lob wheelie bins into it and stuff to see what happened

look at the bottom left of @TyneTeas last link, you won't see them unless you're on full screen. Also you can see people move up the hill to the right of the volcano when the path breaks.

I always think lava looks like it would be so satisfying to mess with with if it wasn’t for the fact it would immediately burn your hand to a crisp.

I'm jealous!

It's a 2-3 hour hike to get there with no path, so it would require serious dedication to take a wheelie bin with you.

DP says he remembers a previous eruption where people were throwing snowballs into the lava.
