It's like a TV show. How embarrassing!

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/royal-aides-reveal-meghan-bullying-claim-before-oprah-interview-7sxfvd2c3

The latest is that Meghan is accused of bullying staff. Harry and Meghan then responded that Buckingham Palace was using the Times to peddle false stories/a smear campaign. So presumably the "leak" comes from Buckingham Palace/the Queen.

It's all so childish. Why can't they all just be grateful for the extremely cushy life that they have!

I'll be watching the Oprah interview. I think the royals never come across well in these kind of things. Like Andrew's awful interview...he's just so out of touch with reality. And I think that's a characteristic that Harry unfortunately shares with him.

So let me get this straight the boss fo two employees filed a complaint on their behalf even thought they hadn't made a complaint themselves and when those people found out the complaint was withdrawn.

Your boss shouldn't be allowed to file a complaint without your consent wtf.

The whole thing is a complete shambles then

SunbathingDragon · 03/03/2021 18:36

Jason Knauf a liar? The Times liars? Thomas Markle estranged and a liar? Samantha Markle estranged and a liar? the newly estranged BRF all a bunch of liars? staff complaining of bullying all liars? staff who had a teacup lobbed at them a liar? have I missed any out? an elderly GF's long held military ranks handed over "don't cock it up" fucked off in under 5 years. the Queen's (The Queen!) lifetime of duty in service to her country treated like shit on a shoe. a pattern is emerging. hmmm.

Someone is lying. Either they are all liars above or else the unnamed source on behalf of Harry and Meghan is. Alternatively, the unnamed source has been misinformed by someone who is lying...

No matter what angle you take on it, it doesn’t look good.

Mummy195 · 03/03/2021 18:38

So much for stiff upper lip. Never complain, never explain Palace is keeping their heads down !

The facts are that a complaint was filed about/for two employees. After that, it’s all speculation from an unnamed and unknown source on behalf of Harry and Meghan saying it was withdrawn etc.

It’s also perfectly acceptable to put in a report about how you are others treating colleagues in the workplace.

PicsInRed · 03/03/2021 18:38

Breaking news, Buckingham Palace now to "investigate" the bullying claims it personally leaked to the press itself, made by a courtier, on behalf of staff who wanted nothing to do with it and for which no actual evidence, witnesses, or indeed claimants, exist.

Still no word on the surely imminent BuckPalace investigation into Paedo Island, Lord Mountbatten's reputed antics, and the Royal Family's long association with Jimmy Saville.

Any day now I'm sure.

You mean the same way Harry isn’t?
Oldbutstillgotit · 03/03/2021 18:40

Apparently BP had launched an investigation into the alleged bullying .

That version of events is denied by those close to the victims apparently.

Wholeheartedly agree.

This isn't the damning post that you think it is

She fell out with her family
The BRF don't accept her
The papers want to sell stories so they'll exaggerate whatever
Uppity palace staff affiliated with BRF shockingly don't accept either

This is so tiresome, maybe she is a bit of a princess. Who knows. Who even cares, most people aren't perfect. I'm sure there's many people who don't like you either, are they all right?

bushhbb · 03/03/2021 18:43

The timing of this being dug up again also makes RF look desperate and pathetic and almost discredits the claims slightly. Just very petty. But I suppose they can do no wrong.

Mummy195 · 03/03/2021 18:43

H&M never said they were abiding by such rules. Neither were they reported as such.

If anything, this has been touted as what they should do and what the RF does.

Nothing may come of but I said previously it doesn’t portray BP in a positive light if they knew of allegations and did nothing.

So can you link to where the royal family said they were abiding by it, please?

They have to look into it to maintain any credibility. Somehow though I can’t imagine Harry and Meghan being invited to sit in a fact finding interview with HR.

Shame the outcome won’t be available to the public.

Oh, did they issue a statement about investigation with Prince Andrew?

Missed that

sitandwait · 03/03/2021 18:55

Wow at all the 'they should have followed proper procedures' minimising of bullying accusations. I'm sure all of us who were ever bullied at school or work went straight to the teacher or line manager and explained everything fearlessly, because that's how these things work, right? People are desperate to minimise this and making really quite disturbing points to do so, in the way that they have often accused posters who dislike Meghan of doing. Don't imagine it isn't obvious when remarks like 'Who even cares, most people aren't perfect' are made in relation to allegations of bullying.

I wonder if there will be an investigation in parallel about the long standing practice of allowing the Queen's dogs to bite staff and doing nothing about it?

No? Ah.

How about a bullying investigation into the notorious long standing widely reputed royal bully, Prince Andrew?

www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/4978294/prince-andrew-ego-meltdowns/

No? I see.

Just Meghan and her terrifying "tone" then? Righto.

How do you know what evidence exists or if their are witnesses or if the claimants want to make a complaint now they have had time to recover.

I'm not sure the FBI would appreciate BP deciding to launch an inquiry when they have an ongoing inquiry, doesn't tend to help.

I have no idea of Lord Mounbatten's reputed antics but I know there was scandal about her having an affair with Nehru.

Are you insinuating the RF knew what Saville was doing?

sitandwait · 03/03/2021 18:57

Re the 'but Andrew' - why would two wrongs make a right? Why does the failure to see him legally dealt with make it ok to minimise bullying?

TheCatWithTheFluffyTail · 03/03/2021 19:00

Oh, did they issue a statement about investigation with Prince Andrew?

Under which part of the employment law would that be covered by?

ancientgran · 03/03/2021 19:00

How about a bullying investigation into the notorious long standing widely reputed royal bully, Prince Andrew? Maybe if he starts complaining about being bullied and posting messages about being kind and stopping bullying he will attract similar accusation of hypocrisy. I haven't seen him do that.

ancientgran · 03/03/2021 19:02

@sitandwait

Re the 'but Andrew' - why would two wrongs make a right? Why does the failure to see him legally dealt with make it ok to minimise bullying?
Because they can't think of anything else to say. Same as Johnson, say anything about him and its "but Corbyn" as if that answers every quesiton.
