Just head that Prince Charles has been to visit him in hospital due to ‘exceptional circumstances’. He’s never visited him in hospital before and apparently left looking emotional. It doesn’t look good does it? I wonder how this will play out given the pandemic?

What I meant was, it’s hardly a surprise at that age. Any time soon we will be dealing with the death of either or both.

Whatever your views on H&M, you can’t deny their actions this week have been bad taste and clunky given whats going on with Philip.

He's had rumoured prostate cancer for years and only went into hospital after the interview was shot and scheduled to screen.

Harry and Megan wanted to keep their patronages. It was the Queen who said no at this time.

They didn't "do" anything.

Isn't Harry isolating to travel at the moment just speculation in some areas of the press? I wouldn't rely on the Sun for facts.

I think the only hospital visit the Queen has made was to the Countess of Wessex after the birth of Louise.

I wish him a speedy recovery and a comfortable time in hospital. I feel for his family but I confess that I am very envious of him getting visitors. My father is days from death from cancer and we can’t visit him. For my mother 55 years of marriage will end in a phone call, not by his side holding his hand. I wouldn’t wish this torture on Prince Phillip or anyone else.

I’m so sorry. I had thought you were permitted to be there at end of life?

Is he able to move to a hospice to allow your family more contact?

Oh ofcourse Meghan had to feature somewhere in this He is an unwell elderly husband/dad/grandfather/greatgrandfather ...thats all there is to say. yes it is wrong that others can't see their parent/grandparents etc etc etc etc. BUT this does not mean that PC should not see his father. Two wrongs do not make a right

He's 99! People don't love forever. It's sad when someone dies but surely at 99 it's not exactly a shock.

There is always a degree of shock when you love them, no matter what the prognosis or how old they are. Have a little sensitivity folks.

Not speculating on the visit, but those who comment that Charles' eyes were watery - remember this is the first time he's seen his father in a while. That can be fairly emotional regardless of circumstance.

Actually @speakout a close family member worked for him and spoke very highly of him: kind, considerate and down to earth. So there

@Chailatteplease I was giving my personal perspective as a member of the public NOT from the perspective of his family who obviously will be sad when he dies. I do feel quite cold towards him. I think he was not the nicest of people- however I do not know him personally and neither do you!
