Buttersnap, from the 1960s... it was a kind of precurser to the Dime Bar.

Bar Six
Aztec Bars
Amazin' Raisin
Old English Spangles

@SummerOfComedy

Does anyone remember Cadbury's toffee buttons? Like chocolate buttons but with a soft toffee centre and bigger.
I remember these, and how hard it was to choose between toffee buttons and Counters. Anyone remember Blobs? Boiled sweets in a packet like Toffos, some of them filled. Apple, pear and banana were gorgeous.

Also a Muller Corner that was strawberry yoghurt, with chocolate and orange flavour balls. Not spotted since about 2002. Sadly missed 😢

Oh and Solero Shots! They were like tiny citrus flavoured hailstones in a tub that you poured into your mouth.

AliceinBunniland · 14/02/2021 20:53

I remember Solero shots and were there other types?

And the Funny Foot(?) ice lolly

I also liked a Zaap but you might still be able to get those

Recent one from me, Cadbury's has a Cadbury's diary mint crisp at Christmas and I'm so gutted its gone 😆 I liked it a bit too much though so provably a good thing.

After reading this thread last night, I dreamt of cabanas, so googled a recipe this morning, and to my delight, found someone on Etsy who makes them! I ordered eight...

GaryUnicorn · 15/02/2021 00:58

Trebor Blobs. I loved the strawberry boiled sweet with a creamy sherbet centre, and the apple boiled sweet with a toffee centre best!

Five Alive fruit drink. It was similar to Um Bongo

Deathraystare · 15/02/2021 07:12

Marshmallow toffee eggs

Much nicer than creme eggs

WildRosie · 18/02/2021 21:34

Callard and Bowser toffees. Big glass jars, weighed out and sold in paper bags. The only ones I didn't like had nuts and/or fruit in them.

Labobo · 18/02/2021 21:37

Nutty Bars - just fudgy toffee with blanched peanuts on the outside. No chocolate on them. Shouldn't taste as good as they did but they were perfect.

MsMiaWallace · 18/02/2021 21:51

They had pink panther wafers & cartoonies in farm foods the other day!!

munchbunch12 · 18/02/2021 22:07

Does anyone remember the 'Roy of the Rovers' fizzy pineapple flavoured chew bars? They were delicious!

ElderMillennial · 19/02/2021 08:23

@MsMiaWallace Oh wow! So you am still get Cartoonies?!

fourkandles · 19/02/2021 08:32

Anyone remember butter flavour ready brek? Long time ago... 1970s. Delicious!

Octopus37 · 19/02/2021 09:13

Starbucks Decadent Chocolate Cheesecake (was around in the early 2000s), dont know why they stopped doing it
Le Deux eggs (they were white chocolate with dark truffle in the middle in two parts)
Moments Bars (both the praline ones and the hazelnut ones)
Jestives (think they were Cadbury) digestive biscuits with chocolate chips in them, they were then half coated

MsMiaWallace · 19/02/2021 09:21

I wish I'd have bought some Cartoonies now!!
They were 67p for a pack of 5 or 6 in farmfoods.
Looked the same as I remembered!

Beautiful3 · 19/02/2021 09:40

I remember secrets chocolate bar. Gold wrapping. Marshmallow centre with chocolate casing. Also birds eye frozen, microwave currys. They were the best!

Beautiful3 · 19/02/2021 09:44

And cadburys fusion bars. In the purple wrappers. They had sultanas, and crunchy bits of biscuits.

ElderMillennial · 19/02/2021 12:06

Jolly Ranchers!

TabbyM · 19/02/2021 12:16

Mint wispas please, but with proper chocolate not palm oil filled stuff.

Pyramints too. And the minty dark/milk/white layered bars in M&S.

Generally any mint chocolate not (modern) nasty aero or after eights!!
