I remember pink panther bars. I was talking about them at home the other day

You can still get Discos crisps in places like B&M

@Bluesheep8 I'm sure you can still get Viscounts in B&M and Iceland

tinytemper66 · 14/02/2021 08:14

Spangles yes!

I thought you could still get Viscounts and Clubs and all the other chocolate biscuits

The only ones I really buy are Kit Kat's and Gold Bars but I'm occasionally tempted to buy blue rib bands or penguins that I had when I was a child

Also those Cadbury Animal Biscuits - You can get some some in a packet and maybe even in a box around Christmas? But the chocolate used to be much thicker

Oh I remembered a good one

Does anyone remember Cartoonies? They were in little packets like Iced Gems, they were round pebble biscuits with chocolate in the middle abs they had pictures on them

Does anyone remember Cadbury's toffee buttons? Like chocolate buttons but with a soft toffee centre and bigger.

I don't remember those toffee buttons but they look good!

I don't understand why they discontinue things that seemed really popular like Spira and Galaxy liaison

@AliceinBunniland you can definitely still get mint viscounts but I remember you used to get orange ones too.

Definitely still get club biscuits as my mum always has mint, orange & yucky fruit ones in her biscuit cupboard.

AliceinBunniland · 14/02/2021 08:58

I want a minty biscuit now Grin

Jins · 14/02/2021 08:59

Cabana. So much more than just cherries in a bounty bar. There was caramel in there as well.

Cheese spread in a jar. Nothing has ever tasted quite as processed

Rise and shine powdered orange juice. Tasted awful but you felt like you were drinking the future

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 14/02/2021 09:01

@Jins powdered orange as in fresh orange 🤢

I do remember cremola foam I loved that

Bluesheep8 · 14/02/2021 09:30

Does anyone remember Sensations boiled sweets? They were made by Needlers. Hard boiled sweet on the outside with a soft centre. Just realised I can sing the advert!
"Unwrap a sensation from Needlers, it's two great sweets in one, cos beneath that crispy coating there's a flavour full of fun!"Grin

GetTheStartyParted · 14/02/2021 10:16

I remember Cartoonies @AliceinBunniland Hello Pandas from B&M or Home Bargain are the same as them Smile

ifigoup · 14/02/2021 10:35

Abbey Crunch biscuits
Jaspers biscuits
Joosters jelly beans
Mars Delight
Mint humbugs in a tube - Woollies used to sell them in the mid-90s

lazymum99 · 14/02/2021 10:50

Cadbury’s Dairy Milk before Kraft took over and made it taste like American sugary rubbish

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 14/02/2021 11:09

I remember rowntrees making liquorice gums and butterscotch gums in tubes like the fruit gums, they were awesome.
Loved mint cracknell and aztec bars, think i remember a jolly bar too that had coloured bits of jelly in it.

Babyroobs · 14/02/2021 11:22

The only chocolate I really miss from the past is cadbury's Fuse bars, they were lovely.

Forkinghell · 14/02/2021 12:27

Mint wispa and citrus polos 🥰

GellerYeller · 14/02/2021 12:47

@StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes you can sometimes get licorice gums in bags from Home Bargains or Morrisons. Made by the same people who do Sports Mixtures gums. Lion possibly.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 14/02/2021 12:50

Thanks but not the same sadly, the rowntree ones were in a tube likethefruitgums but thanks 👍🏻

LadyPoison · 14/02/2021 19:34

@MissyB1 - apparently they are still made. I just found some on Amazon! There must be some stockists somewhere surely. They wouldn't make them just for online sales surely?

For the PP looking for Lincoln - those are there too!

Borisjohnsonshairbrush · 14/02/2021 19:45

Oh Mavericks they were amazing

valentinesdayschmalentinesday · 14/02/2021 19:57

Milky bar Easter eggs . They were about 90p and had orange goo inside . Think it was vaguely caramel like . I adored them . No idea what happened to them .

Also -

Cadbury ritz/cracker bars

Tesco giant Belgian chocolate cookies - they were rock solid and divine

Tesco chocolate filled doughnuts

Salted caramel rice pudding that came in tiny little pots in Tesco, was called ‘naughty but rice’ or something like that ... used to buy them in bulk for work - absolutely divine

Chocolate teddies cereal from Safeway

Cereal bars when they were very first made by Kellogg’s back in 1999 or so, they were solid and creamy and absolutely divine

Tasters

Cadbury with strawberry and cream filling

Somerfield Cadbury cheesecake (very like M&S individual slices)

valentinesdayschmalentinesday · 14/02/2021 19:59

And Starburst juice from vending Machines ... Um Bungo ... black currant sunny delight

SingleHandSue · 14/02/2021 20:13

I really miss Spira and Flake praline was delicious.

The chocolate bar I miss the most though is Cadbury dairy milk with shortcake biscuit 🤤
