mrscee · 13/02/2021 18:19

I remember a cheese crispie thing which I used to get from vending machine after I'd been swimming it had a crunchy outside shell and inside was cheesy sauce stuff it was sort of criss cross shape and tasted similar to Cheesies moments I think the wrapper was yellow and blue it was lush.

motleymop · 13/02/2021 18:22

Yes, you can get pink wafers in any supermarket. Splendid biscuits IMO.

And 1 year Ferrero made a mint chocolate - it had liquid mint flavouring in it and was divine

Livpool · 13/02/2021 18:26

Ooh Golden Cup - they were a bit like Galaxy caramel in taste

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 13/02/2021 18:28

Cerealkillers · 13/02/2021 18:31

Burtons piglet crisps, I would sell my granny for just one packets of these. They were proper 3D pigs 🐖 not just bacon flavoured.

GlamourSpider · 13/02/2021 18:32

Spira and Fuse

Chrispackhamspoodle · 13/02/2021 18:40

I usd to work in the Rowntree factory that made Secret bars when I was 19.They were horrible...possibly because we were allowed to eat as much unwrapped chocolate as we liked.I went off them pretty quickly.We had metal scrapers to scrape the trodden in chocolate off the floor...it went straight into a huge tub to be melted back down.

DorotheaDiamond · 13/02/2021 18:44

Plain chocolate club biscuits

partystress · 13/02/2021 18:53

@Kazzyhoward Waifa Bars were so much nicer than KitKats. Wish they’d bring back the dark one.

Does anyone remember IceBreaker? Dark and milk chocolate together with chips of mint, like bits of a Fox’s glaciers mint through it. . Delicious.

ScottChegg · 13/02/2021 19:08

@WouldstrokeTomHardy

Drifter? They were ace.

ImTeamLogan · 13/02/2021 19:09

Lincoln biscuits. Round plain biscuits with little bobbles on the top. I loved them, can’t get them anymore 🙁

CuntasarusRex · 13/02/2021 19:13

Walnuts whips were in home bargains over christmas, I demolished 2 packs to myselfBlush

Mountainpose · 13/02/2021 19:17

Sunpat cheddar cheese spread. It was yellow and came in a brown jar, I recall

ScottChegg · 13/02/2021 19:22

@MissyB1

Jacobs still make Lincoln biscuits in Ireland, I swear I saw them last time I went to the Morrisons near me, which has an Irish section in the world foods aisle as I live somewhere with a sizeable Irish community. Otherwise, people are selling them on Ebay.

bugaboo218 · 13/02/2021 19:39

54321 bars, United bars, dairy milk when it used to be proper Cadbury without a load of shit in it neapoltians, um bongo drink tubes crisps, highland toffee bars and tab clear.

The staple treats of my eighties childhood and early nineties teen years.

I remember a mint bar in bright blue packaging with green writing but don't know what it was called

I don't remember Pyramints either but I like the sound of them

I bang on about the same chocolate bar every time on of these threads come up just in case the chocolate chiefs are lurking around here putting out the feelers - if you are, BRING BACK THE SNOWFLAKE YOU EVIL BASTARDS - I mourn the loss of these. No need to worry about whether or not it will be popular enough to make you a profit, I’ll buy all of them, lorryloads full.

AliceinBunniland · 13/02/2021 20:50

Yes the Snowflake

Have you tried a caramel or caramel twirl? Someone told me about them in the summer when the orange twirls came out. They look similar to a snow flake but ive only seen them on Amazon for silly prices

I used to have potato.puffs after my swimming lesson. Must have been about 1972.

MissyB1 · 13/02/2021 21:03

@ScottChegg oooh thanks there’s a Morrisons not far from me I will go tomorrow to have a nosey. Failing that I shall have to move to Ireland Grin

Nanny2many · 13/02/2021 21:07

@SimonJT

Not chocolate but a ‘crisp’ they were like french fries in shape, but they were hollow and more rounded. Annoyingly I can’t remember what they were called.
Tuba hoops? My daddy used to buy these for us a from the vending machine after he took us swimming in the local leisure centre in the 80’s
OhWhyNot · 13/02/2021 21:08

I would love a Banjo bar

I liked the Snowflake bars I don’t usually like white chocolate they were very sweet but very nice
