Anyone fancy a new jigsaw thread?

Hello all.

I really enjoyed the last jigsaw thread which was going on during the summer and wondered if anyone fancied sharing any pictures of jigsaws that are currently being done?
I'm nearly finished with my Disney Christmas one. A nice easy one which has only taken me a couple of days.
The weather is grim today so I expect it will be finished very soon! I will post a full picture once it is complete.
Would love to see your jigsaws....

Finished this beast of a 2000-piece study in blue.
It would have been nigh-on impossible except that the back has letters a to p dividing the jigsaw into 16 parts and each 16th is manageable.

Wow, that is impressive!!

Must dig out my jigsaw puzzles now it's nearly Christmas. I'm sure I bought a couple of new ones earlier this year.

InMySpareTime · 20/12/2023 15:20

I bought myself a Christmas jigsaw and wrapped it up so I know I have something lovely waiting for me on Christmas morning.

MackenCheese · 20/12/2023 15:24

@InMySpareTime that is truly stunning. Well done, and which brand, may I ask?

InMySpareTime · 20/12/2023 16:19

@MackenCheese it says "CHengQiSM" on the box, I don't know if the capitals are important. DD got it from Amazon.

I've just finished this one called The Eve of Christmas.

I've not done a puzzle for years but have bought myself a 1000 piece one and a puzzle board and have them wrapped and under the tree. I'm really looking forward to some relaxed evenings puzzling.

Happy Christmas everyone! Just finished my advent puzzle...

And here's my Christmas jigsaw. I had hoped to get it done in the day but was too tired, so it carried over to Boxing Day.

My Christmas jigsaw, only a 500 as I didn't want to have to think too hard!

I had several Christmas jigsaws to do but did the one my son gave me for Christmas instead.
I think I’ll start a Christmas one over the weekend.

I’ve kept the non-Christmas puzzle DH gave me for later on, so I can put the Christmas puzzles in the loft (and then I’ll more space on my puzzle shelf!) All my Christmas ones this year are charity shop finds, this was still factory sealed. I might pop more often than usual in January hoping for some gems as people clear out unwanted gifts.

Love that advent one @InMySpareTime, looks bloody difficult though!

InMySpareTime · 31/12/2023 14:36

It was a lot easier split into 24 boxed sections! Not sure it would be so easy done all at once.

mamaduckbone · 04/01/2024 22:41

I only post on this thread once a year since an annual Christmas jigsaw is the only one I do!
This year's has been very easy but lovely and satisfying to do - People of the World. It's only taken a few days rather than a few weeks.

Christmas jigsaw completed on Sunday. This was a really nice one to do. I forgot to take a proper photo as I had it back in the box 10 mins after finishing it.

Really bright and cheery! I have an arty one I started a while back to go back to now. It's not nearly as much fun.

InMySpareTime · 12/01/2024 07:11

Last of my Christmas jigsaws, I'm now on a jigsaw of Laxey Wheel (an Isle of Man landmark) which is mostly brown twigs. I think that'll keep me going for a while.
